heyou

this is so realistic it's giving me war flashbacks

Tongtong is so perfect for this role. His acting is TOP-TIER. I can't keep my eyes off him

i really thought this will be bad with the way some are talking abt this show... this is actually a nice coming of age story

teacher - student romance will always be weird and inapproptiate to me so I'm on the fence with starting this show, esp with the amount of comments below shipping them.. So if you feel the same way as me, no worries! In my opinion, this adaptation did it right. It's a fun watch! focusing on the growth of the students, and the teachers as well

As someone who doesn't know anything about Peking Opera and honestly does not have any interest to begin with- this made me appreciate the art, and discover a new profound respect for every artist . This is so beautiful

One 31 always do well with their BL period pieces. I want more!

Just watched this because of the remake and because of Peak, but what the hell lol. I guess this is a product of its time, but the way this show is so casual with nonconsensual behaviors from the characters is surprising to me especially when i calculate the actors' ages at the time of release

This would be a great PSA for method actors lol. Truly enjoyed watching this. I would love to have more psychological romances like this in BL/GL 🤞

As much as i love this, i hope it won't set precedent for future kbls to use AI as well

I love the flawed yet lovable characters and their own quirks. This may not be the perfect drama but it's certainly underrated

I'm unfamiliar with the actors but everyone's perfect for their roles in my opinion. Love their found family so much, I'm imagining myself eating dinner with them lol

I hope not, that would be kind of creepy

Just realized that I enjoyed this show the same way I enjoyed watching horror movies. Their relationship is unhealthy, toxic and crazy but what's crazier is how everytime I feel a little bad for Lu Feng, he says or does something diabolical again lol

As someone who also feels like I'm only pretending to be adult, I can completely relate to the main characters who appear to be jaded with life. Their chemistry is also amazing

As someone experiencing burnout, this is a total hit for me lol. The chemistry and cinematography are great. I love the acting, even the supporting characters are amazing

Just realized how much i appreciate the lighting. If this released today, you won't be able see the fighting in the dark lol

The chemistry is so perfect, I'm still dreaming of a sequel that will most likely not happen 😭

I see this as a queer story, and that they love each other. But I understand the criticism, I think the production purposely left it ambiguous enough for the viewers to decide if it's romantic love or not. So it may come accross like some series which are censored adaptations in a way. It's beautiful nonetheless

started watching this knowing that this is a censored adaptation but i guess they did not do a good job censoring cause everything still looks pretty gay lol

By far the best chemistry of all the pairings of this series in my opinion
