I don't know much on mental department but Beom Seok does not get a free pass even though he's abused, bullied, has self-esteem issues and went through a lot. Anyone can snap if they faced the same thing, they should and this is expected, but he went too far when he tried to bring down his friend repeatedly until he got what he wanted and then he's like "this is your fault" and "I did nothing wrong".
In webtoon, they didn't go deep into his personal life but he's the same person. A loner that turned on his friends who befriended him first. They're cooler, much smarter and closer to each other (soul mate, not necessarily bl) so he felt left out, lose his glasses, hung out with bullies and targeted Stephen. Got Stephen into a coma (I sobbed badly), tried to cover up, and was beaten up by Gray. For sure no one would sympathize with him here.
Watched the drama and binge watched/read the manhwa or webtoon. The manhwa is crazy good! Literally one of the best I've ever read, not much boring moment if there's any. Can't wait for new updates...
I knew the ending but I still watched it with 0 expectation even with the "Nostalgic" genre on Netflix. Their chemistry is great, acting is good, romance is love. Heartbroken for the future that never was.
Now, can anyone recommend me dramas/movies like this but with better ending? The sweet casual innocent building up romance kind of thing.
December can't come fast enough! Bummed that JSM won't be the fl but I love Naksu more. If this is a novel, for sure I won't even care whose body she's in as long as she's Naksu in mind and soul. But since this is a drama where we can see the face and all, we get attached to the actress.
Watched till the latest episode (ep39) and still I will turbo speed through all fight scenes because they look really bad! The wire works, their awkward body postures when they're up in the air, actions and the cgi during fight scenes really doesn't look like it's on the same or even near enough level as other xianxia/wuxia dramas in recent years. These scenes always makes me laugh or cringe which never happens when I watch other xianxias. Don't know why only fight scenes cgi are really bad, other cgi is good imo. But it's been a bit draggy lately...
Still though, it's worth it to give this drama a try.
I feel like her characters in all her dramas that I watched are similar... Naive, innocent, childish, sweet girl like in Ashes of Love, Go Go Squid, and now Immortal Samsara. Her character in Oath of Love is a bit different I guess but still somewhat similar imo. Has she ever acted a badass or strong fl character before?
Good, recommended drama, but bad subtitle on dramacool. Dropped it the first time a year ago due to the bad sub translation but endured through it this weekend because the storyline is good plus I'm binge watching Wu Lei works rn.
After halfway through, I got lost and cannot understand the plot anymore... Watched for Wu Lei but had to drop the drama because I think it's a waste of my time. I actually like the drama until he first got back home from desert.
Rewatching certain scenes for Sun. What can I say other than his hair really looks beautiful! So different than the other historical chinese dramas ML. So pretty, wavy, long, and brownish.
Please recommend me some of his good dramas! I've only seen him in LLTG and NiF :')
1. The Long Ballad ***** 2. Cross Fire ****
I truly love him in The Long Ballad! The FL is bit childish and impulsive and stubborn due to her age and revenge-focused way until halfway through the drama but there's character development after that. I binged watched it and did not regret it at all, never thought of dropping it.
He was great in Cross Fire too but I actually dropped it long time ago due to really bad subtitle translation, just rewatched and the drama was actually good too, the storyline, acting, etc.
Ahh okay. I'm neutral with her but there are certain scenes in episodes 13-15 where I think her acting was amazing. I cried buckets when she cried here

Such a BS guy this Bum Seok

But... what about Bu Yeon...

The King's Avatar >> Cross Fire >= Gank Your Heart >> Falling Into Your Smile >> Go Go Squid
