I LOVE EVERYTHING! The visuals are the best. Both leads so beautiful and handsome, their acting and chemistry very good. Her jewelries, makeups and outfits all so pretty I don't think other dramas FLs dress ups are as gorgeous as Yu Wanyin's.
Watched most eps at speed 1.80x because I don't do slow. I especially loved all Xiahou Dan's expressions, cold gaze towards other people but warm only to her aww so sweet.
The ending is a bit too abrupt though, I saw some comments about the novel's ending now I'm interested in reading the novel too.

Very annoyed with the generals. She helped them in Panyi yet they didn’t even try to help her at all. At least give her some meds, help with the rain cover, provide some heater or whatnot. Trash men!

Maybe I'm a bit biased, but even without the controversy ep 12 is a bit "hmm whatt make it makes sense please". The logic isn't present much for certain scenes in this episode... Too romanced-focused and rushing for finale I guess
So the guy went MIA to be a volunteer soldier at a war zone? Arguing loudly in the middle of the night when the rebel group were searching for them?????
The first kdrama to have the fastest breakup ever and here I thought they liked each other, seems like a happy healthy relay, how are they going to break up since it's only halfway through?
The cinematography (is that the right word?) is really nice, catchy a bit retro-feel and different than normal dramas. The zooming in, the intermittent different scenes to show CWS's way of thinking
