Completed this drama and it was a very good watch. I would have enjoyed it more if it hadn't taken so long for my ship to sail. Really happy she ended up with the right guy.

Subtitles got much better starting at episode 8.

Storyline is good, acting is also decent with good looking actors and actresses. I would totally enjoy watching this drama if some kind soul would complete the subs and fill in the missing gaps for us poor illiterates in the Chinese language. Started this and watched until episode 6 on the official Youtube channel thinking it was fully subbed but there are so many missing subtitles, some episodes were only subbed 50-60%. ????

Liu Xue Hua is a legendary actress. Love her acting in the classic 80s Qiong Yao series. She brings life to every role she portrays. She completely inhabits, body and soul, her personas. Her eyes convincingly express all the deep emotions of each character she plays. She is still one of the best actresses around today.

One on Qiong Yao's best stories. Great acting from Liu Xue Hua. portraying Yi Ping. This drama version is much better that the one with Zhao Wei and Ruby Lin, Although I do also like the other version, but not as much as this one.

Mainly set in 1960s Taipei, the story follows a young girl Lu Yi-ping as she plotted revenge against her father—formerly a warlord in Northeast China who had 9 wives before fleeing the Chinese Communist Revolution for Taiwan—and his entire household, including her kind half-sister Lu Ru-ping.

If you're asking if the drama you downloaded was the complete drama, then yes it is. The version on Avistaz is the DVD version (which is cut at 45 mins each). Whereas, the 63 episode version is the TV version, which is also the same as the Youtube version ( but each episode cut varies from 39 to 42 mins ).
