Does that mean they don't get together by the end? I'd love an end spoiler....happy, sad, open??
I did watch Meet Yourself and also loved it. Although, I have to say I love Will Love in Spring more. Maybe it's just my preference but I like the push and pull. It makes it more interesting to watch. However, I'm a romance buff and like all kinds of romance as long as the narrative and motivations of the character makes sense for the story, and of course if the chemistry of the leads is great.

No offense meant or taken, just having discussions here. I understand your point about flirty characters, I usually feel the same way about them. However, Zhou Yutong portrayed that character flaw in a way that makes me understand why she acts like that and she also makes it look cute and funny to me. I also think she said that phrase to him at an early point in their relationship. At the time, they were not fully committed yet. For her, the city has a longer history and stronger pull. After their relationship has deepened then she understood that he is more important than Shanghai. I think that's what's great about their love, they help each other overcome their insecurities and faults and become better partners for each other in the end.

It's a happy ending for ML and FL. They both love each other deeply and passionately and their love is portrayed very well in the drama. The FL has an outgoing personality, which she uses to cover her emotional pain. She's only flirty with the ML, which I like because she compliments the stoic personality of the ML and gets him to open up. Also, if she's not flirty and the pursuer in the relationship, they would never be together because if it was left to him they would never be able to get together. I think her character can help with the depressing affects of his work. She can make him laugh and enjoy life. Imagine if he has a hard day's work at the morgue and he comes home to a partner with a passive and repressed personality like his.
If you are looking for green flag ML or FL, look else where. The drama shows us a lot of the gray or even dark…
Well said! Totally agree with you. Theses characters behave, feel and love the way real people in real life do. The point of watching this kind of story is to understand where the characters are coming from, to empathize with them and follow their journey of change and growth. Both ML and FL have their issues, in their careers and emotions, but with each other's support they are able to overcome them. It's a beautiful story of love between family, friends and lovers. Perfectly acted by a great actor and actress with superb chemistry . This drama gets a 10 from me.
I totaly agree with you. I'm very surprised for all the hate for this drama. Although some plot lines can be a…
@10years Very well said, I agree with you 100%. I've been watching Kdramas since the Hallyu era. I also really miss the style of old Kdramas, especially in the romance genre. This drama is totally reminiscent for me of the feeling of watching them. The main reason I don't watch western shows anymore is that I prefer the Asian style of storytelling more. Their stories are tied to emotions rather than only physical contact. In the past, I'd watch almost all of Kdramas that are released, but nowadays I probably only watch less than a third of them. I have to rely on watching Cdramas to satisfy my itch for romance these days. Sometimes, we just need to watch a simple narrative of two people with great chemistry falling in love with each other. We definitely need more of these kinds of Kdramas to have a comeback amongst all the thriller focused ones we are bombarded with now.
They DID get back together, most probably you didn't get it
They did get together. In the scene towards the end when Lin Xi and Ji Jun Xing were brushing their teeth with their son, Lin Xi saw a text message. In the message, Jiang Yi Mian was thanking Xie Ang for giving her a diamond ring but she hopes for a bigger ring next time. This implies that Jiang Yi Mian and Xie Ang are currently together.
For me, I rate a drama very high when it makes me feel deep emotions along with the main characters. I've watched Asian dramas for many decades and this drama is ranked at the very top of my list. This is a story of Young Woo's journey and experiences as a woman, an individual on the autism spectrum and a first year lawyer. She learns and grows through each case she takes on and the people she encounters.
I feel that the cases are relevant to Young Woo and reflects real cases in Korea and real life (many times people will sue and go to court for stupid and crazy reasons). However, those cases are not a waste because Young Woo is able to reflect afterwards and understand herself and recognize the emotions she goes through as a lawyer.
I was alongside Young Woo every step as she faced all her challenges from the beginning to the end of the drama. She captivated me with her positive outlook in life, her blunt and straight forward ways and her willingness to advocate and fight for what she believes in. I will echo what many people have already said, Park Eun Bin deserves to win The Baeksang Awards for her role as Woo Young Woo.

PS, I think it was her mother's love and regret that she couldn't be alive to raise LZX expressed in the letter that created the parallel/time travel and time loop.
Highly recommend this drama! The rating deserves to be a lot higher. It has all the elements in a story that I love; sci-fi, slice-of-life and romance. The FL experienced growth through her journeys in the parallel word. She learned about her potential, about life lessons and developed her math skills. Although not at a genius level in math like the ML, the FL does have a great aptitude in math and works very hard to progress in her field of passion. Even though I usually like for romance to be at the forefront of a story, I enjoyed the love between the FL and her father even more than the main lead's love story. I also agreed that the kids' arc in the first 9 episodes were the best, but the the teenage and adults' arc and plot were also engaging to the end.
