this has so much potential to be a 16 episode drama. could’ve fleshed out so many side stories and developed character arcs. shown us jiung and doyeon maybe even jiho moving on cause although he likes seong ah it’s not shown in a serious light (which I’m grateful for) and give bongsu a proper emotional closure and give him a traumatic past? idk I was kinda underwhelmed about his backstory cause I was expecting a real raw plot for him.
seong ah saying everyone likes bongsu more than gyeon u is so heartbreaking. like it made me understand how truly alone he must’ve been before until seong ah with his personality. all his misfortunes made him closed off to protect himself and also the others to a certain extent. seong ah is the color to his life. jiho although having ‘beef’ with him over their shared love interest is genuinely a friend to him and cares about his well being. it’s so sad how he was just starting to enjoy his life with warm people around him and he’s trapped all over again. while I can empathize with bongsu he needs to go find another ghost to fall in love, find a playground in the afterlife and respectfully go away. yall better give me gyeon u back and the whole last episode better be the cheesiest episode made

she’s too weak to do anything extremely harmful also bongsu isn’t cooperating with her. but this could be wrong cause she seems to be plotting smth and seong ah being the human amulet is almost controlling bong su while also protecting gyeon u so that security kinda gives them the freedom to be irrational which shouldn’t be taken for granted tbh. (this is what I came up with to justify whatever they’re doing bc I was annoyed while watching the episode too lmao)

realistically they’ll be losing money if she dies halfway through the shooting bc most of them would’ve chosen this project over other project offers so them acting that way is totally valid. I also think the side eyeing was mainly due to the dating article that was released and not her dying.
every time I feel like I’m glazing NKM a new episode drops and I realize that I infact do not glaze as much as I am supposed to. he is THE standard as an actor as a character. I love how his character is a flawed green flag and him as a whole. someone needs to make a compilation of him smiling god it’s so pretty. his acting in my dearest (also the drama itself im a proud ambassador so if you haven’t watched it yet this is your sign) made my brain run wild for days even after I had finished watching the whole series and I guess I can add another one to the list now. I know for a fact that this drama would keep me wired for days or maybe even weeks after it ends and I’m not ready to say goodbye yet. knowing there’s only two episodes more to go before I bid farewell to this masterpiece hurts my soul. if I love a drama I usually recommend it to a lot of people but something about this drama makes me want to hide it away from people knowing. it’s just me and this drama against the world and if I do recommend it to someone I want it to be a person who’d understand it deeply and appreciate sincerely. this is so precious to me and I don’t want anyone to watch it as a background story.

honestly I didn’t want a happy ending at first bc it’s not realistic. they’ve told us again and again that she’s about to die and I was okay with it but now that we’ve seen all of these episodes I just can’t imagine letting her go. seeing her die. daeum as a character feels so personal and close to me and as someone who appreciates realism I swear I wouldn’t mind a glittery fairytale magic that’d make her live no matter how unrealistic it would be. also anyone doubting JYBs acting fight me. she’s fantastic and I can feel daeums desperation and desire to live longer through her acting. I also think that an open ending is highly possible as they’ve been hinting at it for a while. she might die but it wouldn’t be explicitly shown maybe?
