There's soooooooooo much that SF keeps from XJ though 1. He doesn't tell her about the curse (XJ just walking around as SF's pet snake attempts to stab her in the back) 2. He didn't tell her he's a demon (I think he was going to but her dad interrupted) 3. It doesn't seem like he clued her in on the whole possible fake marriage thing (cause she runs away crying in the preview) 4. Hurts her feelings and basically calls her stupid for believing he actually loved her (in the above gif)
I know these secrets and misunderstandings and information withholding is part of the drama but I wish SF could trust XJ more. She's really really powerful and she's a good person. He doesn't always need to protect her.
I love SF. He's a beautiful hero and very self-sacrificing but tbh he's too selfless. He should be more selfish. If he wants the girl, go get the girl. Trying to win everything and the girl will only cause harm and hurt (as we're seeing now).

SF is a demon in this 10th life. He was a Phoenix in heaven when he first met XJ as her bird friend that she'd talk to when she was upset/sad. He decided to go to Earth with XJ 1000 years ago.
So I don't understand. Now that XJ got all her senses, does it mean her heart is normal, not glass anymore? But…
She has all her senses but her heart is still glass (HC gave her a heart of glass when he betrayed his friend and spilt that friend into 2, M star and God of War). She doesn't remember her past lives because she drank water that makes you forget. I guess SF never drank the water at reset time except the 10th time because he lost hope that she'd ever learn love and not follow her killing instinct (this is a theory though brought up by one of the comments from the endless string below LOL). Li Ze Palace doesn't want SF to love so he's cursed with the mask (to protect Li Ze palace). XF can't cure him rn because her heart isn't fully "human". There's a theory that XJ could only take his mask off because she's so powerful.
