I'm really a fan of the ML. He's got soooooo much charm and charisma. He has lots of microexpressions that are just so attractive (similar to ROTAR's ML). The ML and FL in this show I think have a natural chemistry too.

I think the original schedule has VIP members getting extra episodes Thursday and if they do, they will probably get uploaded bootleg. I saw a youtube video of a Cdrama reviewer that says the VIP system doesn't work well since many of the times the extra episodes are uploaded and thus it encourages pirating for the sake of extra profit. But I did read a comment here that there was going to be a streaming delay? Either way, if the schedule is still accurate... you'll see some type of spoilers from VIP members if not the episodes themselves. Sorry for the long answer that can basically be summed up as "maybe, we'll see" LOL

I think it'll be worth it to stay but I definitely get the frustration. From what I've seen, A LOT of historical Chinese dramas have an overabundance of angst, hatred, revenge, and hella feels that tear the MCs apart. I haven't finished a single long drama (50+ episode) because of this but I'm optimistic about L&R since I've heard, based on the novel, that there should be a happy ending. LOL I will be annoyed though if SF or XJ just stop loving each other because like what the heck you can't just go from "I'd kill and die for you" to "I literally hate you... get out of my sight" since that's just too extreme for a couple that's been fated for a thousand years...

I'm not sure if "succeeding" is killing SF or just regaining her God of War status? It seems like her previous lives, she didn't have cultivation abilities. Who knows LOL it's all so confusing without subs.

OHHHHH so that's why she has those weird stitching marks on her shoulders and chest when SF puts a red robe on her from the 11min trailer... it must be from when her limbs were chopped.

I think the 10 lives is part of their mortal tribulation. According to HC, this is CXJ's "final chance" for success (ep 7). I could have interpreted that wrong though. Maybe that's CXJ's literal version of hell on Earth though LOL to live multiple lives and kill her true love.

What I don't get is why he keeps letting her kill him??? In their previous lives, it looks like he resists 0% to her hostility. I saw that CXJ told SF to "find her and remember her" whilst falling in a dark vortex (6min trailer) and I remember reading on an insta post that the blood tear under SF's eye is supposed to help each remember the other in their next life but CXJ never does. This maybe plays a part in why he keeps dying? Obviously, they're being messed with by someone or someones, somehow smh

And I know we all feel bad for SF but what about CXJ? This poor girl just wants to be with her love (and eat delicious food) but everyone keeps manipulating her for their own gain (especially HC). Everyone and everything (external circumstances) just doing her dirty. She just seems so tragic because of her lack of choice and control over her life all because she's an OP death machine. I guess it's the common hero dilemma between eternal love or saving the world but you can't have both.

Definitely the cutesy kind of chemistry. If you enjoy "cat-and-mouse" romances with back-and-forth bickering, you'll enjoy this. The FL has great eye-smiles and ML is both tender yet domineering. They're a very sweet pair.
