This drama is only a solid 8 for me, i cant say its the best mostly due to Kang Daniel's acting like ill gave…
I thought the last episode where he was with his father showed he’s able to convey emotions well. I don’t know if you were expecting a huge display of emotions, but I think that would be inconsistent with Wi Seunghyun’s characterisation.

I’m very satisfied with how the drama ended. I’m so invested in this drama… my Wednesdays will feel so empty now.

Kang Daniel's romantic scenes are honestly some of the best I've ever seen.
I would have to agree. There’s something about him and Chae Soo Bin together (mainly him I feel), that makes the moment so tender. I can’t put my finger on it but I’m a huge fan now.

I have had issues with the inconsistent writing but episodes 13 and 14 were well done. The way the flashbacks were shown and how each part of the story was revealed were so good.

But I’m so sad about Tak and Seunghyun’s friendship taking a hit. It’s been shown in all the trailers and I thought I was ready for it but it turns out I’m not. One of the best scenes for me was Tak and Seunghyun sitting on the bench, talking.

The differences in their characters couldn’t be more stark. Tak is the hotheaded, impulsive one, and Seunghyun is the one who internalises his hurt and pain. Yet both are still direct and straightforward, able to express how they feel clearly. Honestly, this is one of the best things the writer has done - to make the characters share what they’re thinking and feeling, without assumptions and long drawn-out episodes.

Also, as someone who doesn’t express their anger loudly, I really appreciate the director showing us that people express hurt and anger in different ways. It seems more realistic to me. I don’t know what it is about this drama but I’m still here watching it, totally immersed in the world the writer and director and cast have created.

I agree. There is so much story left to tell that I don't know how they will fit it all into 2 episodes. I wish…
Totally agree, but it’s weird that while I felt so many things were being revealed, the pacing of episodes 13-14 was good for me. I just wish the director had spent a bit more time on this main story arc - not that I didn’t enjoy (thoroughly) the lightheartedness that came in the first half. In the end, the story would have been better served if the drama was a 20 episode one, or if each episode was a bit longer.

I somehow agree here. I felt the same when he got to know the truth. He should be more fierce, raging with angry…
I guess it all comes down to personal preference in the end. Having one character with explosive acting is enough for me. I actually appreciate that the director is showing that people get angry in different ways - not always just explosive, angry shouting.

I really enjoyed episodes 13-14. I do feel like this drama should be 20 episodes instead of 16. Sometimes when watching, it seems like the editor and director cut out many scenes in order to fit the 16-episode, 1hr each episode format. This last arc needs a bit more development - both in the previous episodes, and in the final few. It’s going to wrap up too quickly.

I'm kinda confused, what do the names on the list signify (Rebecca, Anastasia..)? Are they the people that were…
I think that those are the names of the escorts that have been “assigned” to the politicians and high-ranking officials. They might not be significant, but I could be wrong.

Is this better than Police University? Because I stopped watching that halfway :(
It’s much better and totally different. I was worried that it’d be like PU too, but I can confidently say it isn’t.

I'm in Episode 6 but something is weird.. Kang Daniel is getting fat or it's a make up for his character? I can't…
I think I read somewhere in the comments that he’s said before that his face swells easily, especially if he hasn’t had enough sleep. What you’re noticing is probably puffiness from the gruelling filming schedule. Dramas also don’t film scenes in chronological order.

I love how they are delving into so many aspects of police training. They really did their research and it's making…
My favourite scenes in the latest episodes involve Eunkang’s family too! The breakfast fight was so funny I couldn’t stop laughing 😂.

The drunk acting was much cuter than I expected - and I love it!

This is such a fun drama but the foreshadowing is making me nervous.

I’m fairly new to this site, though I’ve been watching dramas for a long time…but is this a problem? 😅…
It has been pretty good so far. Maybe people are reserving judgement until all the episodes have aired. The rating has gone up to 8.5 though, so that’s something.

Why is the rating so stagnant ? It’s not at all fluctuating from a ver long time

Maybe some people are waiting for the drama to finish airing before they rate it? I know streaming platforms have changed the way we watch dramas so a lot of us might prefer to binge watch an entire series.

Definitely not looking to start an argument or debate. Just genuinely curious, because it’s the storyline in PU that put me off. I didn’t drop it and I gave it a chance all the way to the last episode.

It’s the plausibility of the story that I couldn’t get behind. For example, JY’s character (sorry I forgot his name) had committed a crime, so technically should never have been allowed into the university. Also, the fact that a KPNU student was helping a professor (who wasn’t even supposed to be part of the investigation because he’d been seconded to the university) in an active investigation is also improbable - and against the law. It just didn’t make sense that the people studying to be law enforcement officers could break so many rules and cross so many lines, and yet still be allowed to graduate.

I’m not one to swoon over on-screen characters but episode 8 was too much for me. Just one word: KISS
I’ve watched my fair share of dramas and I really like this one. It’s just such a fun ride. The pacing is good - I don’t find myself getting bored, and I’m always surprised when the episode ends. The ensemble cast is so good! Honestly, Daeil’s character is easily my favourite.

Anyone else think in episode 5 that seunghyun was making a bigger deal of the whole cheating thing with his senior…
A person who’s studying to be a police officer blatantly cheats on an important exam and you think it isn’t a big deal? This is someone who is expected to act with integrity and uphold the law.

Why do people keep saying the ML can't act? I think his acting is nuanced and people are missing the finer points…
I agree. Male lead is inexperienced but his micro expressions are quite good. I was keeping my expectations low and he surpassed them by a mile.
He’s able to convey emotions well and his face is quite expressive. I appreciate his ability to convey his emotions through subtle changes; tensing then relaxing the muscles. It’s subtle but it fits his character description.
