Our Universe: Started with Hope, Ended in Disappointment
I started watching Our Universe because of Wooju, and honestly, the drama had a really good start. It showed a range of emotions and felt promising in the beginning, which kept me going. But as the story progressed, it slowly started losing my interest. The focus shifted more towards the female lead and the second male lead, and they were given a lot of screen time together. I understand how the story was supposed to end, but it still felt a bit unbalanced.
What disappointed me the most was Wooju’s character. I started this drama for him, but his story barely progressed as the episodes went on. It felt like his character was sidelined, which made it harder for me to stay invested.
I had pretty high expectations going into this drama, especially after the strong start, but it didn’t quite live up to them for me.
Maybe it works for others, but for me, it turned out to be a bit disappointing.

Mystic Pop-up Bar: A Hidden Gem That Heals
I finished watching this drama today. It was such a comforting and meaningful experience. At first, it feels like a fantasy drama about a mysterious bar, where people visit to resolve their grudges. As the story progresses the backstory of Wol Ju also unfolds.
Wol Ju is an amazingly written character. Her journey, along with Chief Gwi and Kang-bae, creates this beautiful found-family dynamic that feels genuine and heartwarming. Wol Ju’s motherly love is portrayed in such a touching way.
What I really loved is how the drama balances humor with heavy emotions. One moment you’re laughing, and the next, you’re tearing up. By the end, it leaves you with a sense of comfort, like a quiet reminder that healing is possible.
Definitely one of those underrated dramas that stays with you.

To My Beloved Thief: A Prince, A Thief, and a Love That Defies It All
At first, I was a bit reluctant to start this drama. But later, I decided to give it a shot—and that turned out to be a really good decision. The story revolves around a prince and an ordinary girl who becomes a thief because of her circumstances. It’s not just a simple love story; it has depth, emotions, and strong character arcs.
Eun Jo is definitely not your typical K-drama female lead who lets things happen to her. She’s strong, independent, and deeply cares for the people around her. That’s what made me like her even more.
And Yi Yeol… he’s the kind of character who truly raises standards. A man who is willing to leave the throne for the woman he loves—do I really need to say anything more? 🤭
Their story felt emotional, meaningful, and worth watching.
Overall, I’m really glad I gave this drama a chance. 💕

Rewatching Alchemy of Souls — Still Just as Magical
I finished rewatching Alchemy of Souls today, and honestly, it still hits just as hard. There’s something about this drama that pulls me in every single time. The whole concept of soul shifting and the world of mages feels so unique, but what really stays with me is the emotional depth. Mu-deok’s character always gets to me—her struggle with identity, power, and vulnerability feels even more intense on a rewatch.
And Jang Uk… I think I appreciated his character even more this time. His growth from someone lost and reckless to someone strong and determined feels so satisfying to watch again. The chemistry between him and Mu-deok is just beautiful—it’s subtle, emotional, and very real.
Visually, the drama is still stunning. The costumes, the sets, the whole magical atmosphere—it all feels so rich and detailed. And the OST… it instantly brings back so many emotions.
Rewatching it just reminded me why I loved it so much in the first place. It’s not just a fantasy drama—it’s about love, identity, sacrifice, and the consequences of power. And it stays with you even after it ends.

Boyfriend on Demand: A Fun Escape into a Little Fantasy
I recently watched Boyfriend on Demand, and it turned out to be quite a funny and enjoyable watch.A boyfriend on subscription? Completely unrealistic. But yeah… we girls do live in our own little fantasy world sometimes, and the idea of dating handsome men like that is just… 🥰
What makes this drama stand out is how different it feels from typical K-dramas. There’s no second lead syndrome, no heavy childhood trauma, no forced childhood connections between the leads—it keeps things simple and refreshing.
What I liked most is how lighthearted the drama feels. It’s perfect when you just want to relax without overthinking. The chemistry between the leads is sweet, and their interactions have that comforting, feel-good vibe.
At the same time, it subtly touches on something very real loneliness in today’s world. We all want someone in our lives who adds a little extra happiness, and here, the lead turns to a virtual boyfriend to fill that emotional gap. That aspect felt surprisingly relatable.
Of course, it’s a bit predictable, and some moments can feel cliché. But if you go in expecting something simple and heartwarming, it delivers exactly that.
Overall, it’s the kind of drama you watch when you just want to smile, escape reality for a bit, and unwind.
