I started learning japanese in 2005 and I studied it quite diligently those years, but when I discovered korean and chinese I stopped learning japanese hahaha! So I forgot almost everything. Chinese I've been studying in school and on my own, but after school ended I stopped learning it and now I don't remember much. xD I've been learning korean a little, but not really studied it or tried for real. So yeah.. it's on/off. I think I would learn really quick if I picked them up though, but I can never decide where to start and with which language. xD What languages do you like and want to learn? How good are your french and spanish? :)

I know! I believe that all the slap/kiss and rape lakorns have affected the perception of women in Thailand. I mean, the view that it's okay to use physical violence or sexual abuse if the woman is a disgraceful person. That she deserves it.

Or the fact that violence seem so natural in most lakorns. All the slaps and forced kisses. It must've had some kind of impact.

And it's like that in almost every d a m n lakorn (of the older ones). The guy misunderstands the angelic main character and decides to revenge his ... by raping her. Then he realize that he got it all wrong and does everything in his power to pay her back and win her heart. Which he does, eventually. But the only excuse they have is "I thought you were another person" or "I thought you were different and a horrible person", aka I though you deserved getting raped.

I watched this lakorn once were the main guy first stalked the girl for weeks and harassed her, then eventually he even raped her, after that he learned the fact that it was her sister that drove his friend to suicide and not her. So he fell in love with her and did everything to be forgiven. I didn't complete that lakorn, but I think bth of us know how it all ended. xD

I know! It's sick! I mean, today I hear about a lot of good thai lakorn without rape scenes, but only 2 or 3 years ago almost every lakorn seemed to have it. Especially the most popular ones. Like Sawan Biang.

Actually I watched it and it was quite good at some points, but the episodes where he abducted her and raped her in his summer house (or something like that) was disturbing! It just felt so wrong that she forgave him. It doesn't matter that he "misunderstood her" or "was so angry because of ...", just the knowledge that he actually rapes someone he's angry with or want revenge on is disgusting and wrong. -_-"

Hahaha good luck with Big then! ;) Tell me what you think about it after you've completed it (well if you do watch it that is)! If it's as bad as everyone says and so on. xD

I think that it's great that you chose dramas after the actors, because that way you'll find a lot of underrated and great dramas. :D

Haha I know! Like if a drama or movie came out in 2013 and had bad quality I would probably give it lower ratings, but when watching an old drama I'm like "only the story and acting is to judge". xD

Vilka andra non-asian serier ser du på utöver Once Upon A Time?

Hahaha samma här, ibland kommer jag att tänka på serier som jag inte lyckades avsluta för flera år sedan och blir alldeles frustrerad för att jag vill veta hur allt slutade, men minns inte var jag var och vet att jag borde se om allt om jag ändå tänker se på den igen (men det orkar man ju inte!) xD

Har massvis av serier som är på On Hold och Dropped listorna inte för att dom är dåliga, utan för att något kom emellan. Till exempel skola eller resa och att man i och med det tappade lusten inför serien. Det är så frustrerande! xD Att veta att man skulle ha varit beroende och älskat serien om man bara inte tvingats lägga den åt sidan när man var mitt uppe i den.

Ahh okej, jag ska försöka se hela Unstoppable High Kick! Alla säger att den är jätte bra och jag gillar att utmana mig själv. Sitcoms är ju helt nytt för mig, haha! Har faktiskt inte hört talats om dom andra du nämnde. :O

It's about this guy called Simon who's got Aspergers Syndrome. Daily routines and a strict schedule is very important to him. He lives with his brother and his brothers girlfriend, until one day, when they break up and everytime falls apart. Simon then decides to find a new girlfriend to his brother so that they can go back to their normal selves and routines. It's really adorable! Plus that he befriends a girl that is his opposite in every way possible and they're so sweet and fun togheter hahaha!

Hahaha that's so cool! I love the click sound too and I actually liked the voices. It's such a soft and funny language. xD

Hahaha I understand. I always feel like I should improve my chinese and study it more seriously again, but everytime I watch a korean drama I'm like "or should I learn korean for realz first?", and end up doing nothing or learning both half-heartedly. xD I really want to learn both until I'm fluent, but it's hard to only focus on just one language at a time. :P But, if you ever have any questions when it comes to swedish you can always ask! :)

Oh then I'll watch it soon! I really hope that MDL will add thai lakorn someday, that would be awesome! :D I'm so happy whenever I found a great lakorn without rape scenes. Seriously, they're rare, haha! xD I mean, I can understand when the male character is cold or rude, but I don't get why thai lakorn almost always have the female lead raped. -_-" That's so twisted. I love Taddao Bussaya because it was my first lakorn without the kiss/slap theme (and because it's a gender-bender and so cute!). :D

Brukar alltid glömma bort vilka avsnitt jag är på annars, haha! Säkert därför min dropped dramas list är så lång. xD Men frukta icke, att dom är dropped betyder inte att jag aldrig kommer ta upp dom igen. Det betyder bara att jag känner mindre lust inför dom, haha!

Japp! Har precis börjat titta på den och vet inte riktigt vad jag tycker om den än. Är inte van vid Sitcoms. Men jag tror att den blir bättre sen när man har lärt känna karaktärerna och familjen bättre. Hahaha I like some of the swedish versions too, it's probably because I listened to them when I was little. My friend is half Swedish and half Finnish, and she likes the Finnish versions the most because that's what she watched when she was little. Guess they just stuck with you. xD Today I almost always watch Dreamwork and Disney movies in english though.

I love languages and find almost every language more or less interesting, and watching Disney videos in different languages is a great way to experience them. Haha! xD

I'll probably watch Life is Beautiful! I really like the cover photo (haha!) and it seem good. Plus that I love stories with homosexuals. xD Somehow that feels more natural and genuine to me.

Wow, I just looked Nang Rai Sai Lub up and the storyline seem so different from other lakorns. How many episodes have aired? :) If it's good I really want to watch it when all the episodes are out. It's been such a long time since I last watched a thai lakorn.

Oh okay, I've read so many good things about Unexpected You, but when I read the synopsis it didn't sound that good. Almost everyone who've watched it seem to give it the highest ratings, that's why I had to ask. Then I'll wait with that drama!

I've heard that Family's Honor is great, but it's quite old right? Is it worth it? :D I really want to watch it!

Hahaha you do? :O I always feel like: should I pick this bad / okay drama because of the actor or should I chose one of the great dramas on my plan to watch list haha. I almost always go with the latter. Like Big. I really looked forward to watch it because of Gong Yoo, but then almost everyone I know who like the same dramas as I do disliked it, so I decided that it wasn't worth the time.

I know, if I had all the episodes at that time I wouldn't have dropped it even though it seemed quite boring. I don't know, somehow I'm more forgiving when it comes to unpopular or old dramas. While on new dramas I've a really high standard and expectations haha! xD
