Another gem .. hidden behined low ratings. Better than a lot of recent dramas to be honest. It wasn't crigne, perhaps that is why not many people were fond of this story. And let's not forget it was released in 2019. Can say there were bits of imperfections, but damnnn I need more dramas to be like this. Story, plotting, schemes, tribes and their greedy profit hungry mind, fighting, characters, weapons and stuff. I personally like such dramas and eternal brotherhood. Definitely need more such recommendations.

For novoland eagleflag .. is there any prequel or any specific order ???? novoland has many other drama too I think. are they all connected?

Please suggest me more such dramas. Clearly the rating system is not up to the point. I mean this drama is awesome and yet such low ratings. I want dramas with good cinematography and not cgi effects and all. Detailed and gradually linking plotlines. Clans and all. Politics and little comedy. Brain used smartly. I can read English translated chinese novels too.

I don't know why this drama recieved low rating. Perhaps may be without a season 3 with decent ending and closure , it will be a lost gem/ underrated drama. There are many other cdramas that recieved high rating but had same old plotline. Eternal brotherhood was actually better. Action with little bit of comedy. Cinematography with lightening like how it used to be in historical dramas and I don't think it was because of low budget, since the custome designs and all were nice enough. Music, acting, character development, story twists, gradual transformation of politics for internal and external profit of the state was strategically depicted. Detailed and layered story buildup and character development.
Now I really want to read the novel - Purple River by Xhu Lao. Too bad I can't find it in english.
I want more such dramas. New world setup, gradual character development, practical and logic used a little. not typicall cringe and all.

it deserves a little better rating that 7.6. it's interesting.

One of the best drama. Slow burn and mystery together was so epic. it's an artistic piece. The background music, the realistic characters and action. I don't understand why the rating is so low. May be the novel is even better. But as a series it is wow. My only complaint..the ending was painful and could have been more nice.

i completed Korean version. I was searching for more such dramas and Japanese, Chinese dramas also.

Yes. They did. But they were murdered. Did the murderer got caught? Because they were about to commit suicide but decided to live for each other's sake....

possibly.. but no such signs in the beginning. I had soooooooo high hopes though ...
