Lol...the above user asked me to check out a video on tiktok and I mentioned I can't because it is blocked. Because it is. In India, tiktok is banned. In China, google and fb is banned. It is just the way it is. We were talking about the series and it segued into a talk about a website. Nothing to see here. Just a regular convo. :-)

Exactly. The YT views make the bulk of their income. The very reason for the blowup of their brand is because of YT and specifically their BLs. No one really outside of Thailand cares for the non-BL because we have plenty of non-BL content in our own countries. It is the BL that we look to Thailand and mostly YT for. The fact that they didn't secure this part of the contract like an ironclad is truly surprising.

Did. But I wanted to watch on YT to support the company. I usually watch on YT and then for keepsake download some of the series that I really really like, just to make sure I always have them lol.

But what copyright issues? There is no way they would have made the entire series without first buying the rights from the author, the publishers and potentially the studio that produced the Japanese version. So I don't get what could possibly be the issue when GMMTV's whole schtick is to release ALL their series on YT. Like it's their thing and clearly that would have figured in the rights purchase at the start itself. Its so weird.

Why is this not on YouTube like all other GMMTV series?

I am confused. Why is Krist not in any of the recent new series announced by GMMTV for the year 2024? Like so many big series announcements and he is missing from them. What is going on? Does anyone know.

Hey, sorry don't mean to go on and on about this but I was randomly looking at twitter trends and landed up seeing this video. Seeing as you were talking about Krist saying he finds it disgusting to watch male-male romantic scenes, which I had also seen and felt uncomfortable about...I came across this link that kinda surprised me in terms of how a few second clip can totally change the meaning of what someone says. Again, i don't mean to relitigate anything but i think if we find something contrary to what we said or believed, then it is only right to share it with them to balance things out. I actually agree with practically everything you just wrote, hoping i read it all properly lol. Dinner is happening alongside. Anyway, my point was that we need to exercise grace in the gay community and the allies. We have kinda become a little too militant off late. Especially recently with people being threatened just for saying what a woman is. The gay community won its rights not by burning bridges but by establishing them. We spoke to people, while at the same time waging battles in court and won in the court of law and in public opinion. That's the way to go about it. Cancelling someone, keeping years-old grudge for something they said long ago is only going to put people off the community and start questioning its hard fought rights...considering those rights were won not by cancelling people but by talking to people. I don't support Krist in the way his hardcore fans do. I absolutely thing he was a bonehead for saying the things he did. And especially the last two things you mentioned, i am still bothered by it. How can you find two males kissing disgusting when you are making money out of kissing another man? Right? I think about all of that but at the end of the day, we still need to forgive, listen to context, check for an apology and also understand the mind of a person. Krist, regardless of whether he is a good actor or not, is not as influential an individual, even with his fans. I mean, do we actually take his words seriously and think it is an actual issue?! Like a Mew Suppasit, (as far as Thai BL actors go) whether you love him or hate him, the man does drive narratives and his fans are loyal enough to at least be a little influenced. And it is no wonder he gets dragged thru the mud for everything because he is of course influential. But Krist, is a cute actor who does harmless tv successful tv no doubt but that's all there is. I think people can cut him some slack. We need to stop holding people to too high a standard when they aren't mature enough to understand said standards is what I am actually saying. Are we going to spend all our time fighting every little battle that we see, then we will lose count of how much we are actually fighting and people will begin to see it as silly as opposed to a genuine fight for rights. I still don't think he is homophobic. He is just dumb. But if he was indeed homophobic, I would still think he is the least of my worries because there are actual influential people that are absolutely homophobic that we can spend our time shouting down. Not that I will but to those that are inclined to do so.

As far as the woke thing is concerned, i meant it in the negative connotation is in seen as now, because the original woke doesn't exist. It has been usurped by crazies and that's what you see day in and day out online especially in the US. So i was referring to that. Obviously you are not that brand of woke. So I am sorry.

There is nothing more 'incredibly stupid' than people wanting to keep fighting for the gay people more than the gay people wish to fight for themselves. I mean, let US conclude if what he said is homophobic or not. We are not pawns in your effort to be cool or woke! What he said is stupid, there is no doubt. But it was said out of ignorance and he has apologized. There is plenty of grace in the gay community to forgive and move on. And I for one have. Don't tell me what to feel and don't insist upon me having to feel like a victim just so you can feel like you have done your activism for the day. He is immature and stupid, but having been tormented under homophobia for much of my life, i know a real homophobic when i see one and i also know people that are stupid enough to sound homophobic because they don't know better. Is there any site we can download this series and watch intl. I used to use KissAsian but they have become the worst especially the last few months. Now to get one video you have to deal with close to ten ads popping up instead of the link, then popup that you have to deal with when you try to check the drama, and then multiple ads when watching their video and even ads after you click download! I mean what did they do to that site and why did they get so greedy? Dont they realize if they don't have visitors there is no use of that site? Anyway, i tried today and got tired. I tried watching the Semantic Error movie and couldnt last more than five minutes and to open it i struggled for another ten odd minutes. Enough is enough. So i just wanted to ask anyone here if there are some other sites to download Thai and Taiwanese and Korean BLs. Most sites are fully Korean. Can someone suggest something that isnt as horrific as KissAsian?

So happy to help. You are one of the better people. Most of the misunderstanding is partly his fault but homophobic he is not. People hate on him for no reason which baffles me. And if presented with facts, they actually double down and hate him more like its their soul's deep need to hate him. lol. Truly pathetic. When I wrote this message they accused me of being a delusional fan writing comments everywhere, even though there is real proof that this is the first comment I had put about him I probably would have written something congratulating him may be years ago once or twice. But again, facts never mattered to these people.

He did not say that. He never did. But of course when you are all about the lies, of course you will be as vicious as you can with them. He said he wouldn’t act in a BL unless it was with Singto because he wanted to preserve that ship. And now that singto has officially left the company, he is doing it with someone else. He acts in at least two series as main lead every year since Sotus. He doesn’t need money and fame only by dipping BL. But of course when viciousness is the motive, one doesn’t usually check one’s facts even if the lack of it makes one look like the blithering fool one is.

I wrote an essay because it turns it is easier to malign someone with just a single sentence without doing due diligence on them. Peoples habits change and characters change. It’s all growing up. To the people that keep saying krist is homophobic, it almost seems like people have forgotten what homophobia actually means. You don’t become homophobic because of an ignorant remark you make or even because you feel bad about being called gay relentlessly by fans when you’re actually straight. Homophobia is much more serious than that and people have gotten beaten up and killed for it. Krist is not homophobic. But to those of you who can’t give this boy a break, keep with the lie that has been disproven over and over again for over four years. If one comment he made five years ago out of plain ignorance renders him homophobic, despite him constantly supporting everything from the marriage bill in Thailand to his own friends who are trans or gay and continuing to still be part of the Krist-Singto, even going as far as recently doing a duet together….then well, I guess there is no redemption for anyone after all. Hopefully that will include you as well. May you never be excused or forgiven for even the slightest wrong you do and May it be recalled year after year! (To be clear I don’t actually hope that for you all but I hope this comment makes your realize extending a little grace to others goes a long way and it means to actors and public figures as well.
