im not sure what it is either, i already mention SOTUS but yeah im a sucker for innocence in a BL relationship (His - I Didn't Think I Would Fall In Love was everything i could ask for in a coming of age BL)

the porn argument that tends to come up annoys me too, with 2gethers recent ep i think peoples confusion on whether they slept together or not, led to people assuming we just want to see sex (because apparently sex is bad, and WHY RU is bad because of sex) but i think people just want it to be clear,
when the characters have become a couple they should act like a couple, it doesnts need to be full on, but we as a viewer want answers BL characters are sexual beings, even lovesick made it clearer when they had sex, without having to show anything

WHY R U isnt perfect and COVID19 doesnt excuse all of its flaws but i was happy watching from beginning to end, and will happily continue to watch 2gether til the end

ok, my comment isnt about whether or not too many gay kisses is a bad thing but how the fact its even a problem shows how far BL shows have come

the porn comment isnt directed at you but more the underhanded digs at WHY R U on the 2gether page, where anything more than kissing is porn

your views are valid and I agree that the dialogue and bed scenes became a bit unbalanced im not claiming WHY R U is perfect

but my point as a gay/bi guy is i would have killed to have WHY R U back when i was 17y/o

its weird, i got used to the peck on the lips from all kinds of asian dramas and would except it if it made sense, to this day i still love the kiss in SOTUS (SOTUS S is a different story) because it was perfect for the speed of their relationship, however Fighter and Tutor are at the stage where they should be all over each other and the show expresses that correctly in my opinion

tbh i was shocked at Saifah and Zon's kiss because tongue isnt even that common in western dramas, not that im complaining lol

oh no definitely, i dont want to assume anyones gender or generalise but it feels like it tends to be female commentors who think kissing between 2 guys is 18+ and not needed or is too excessive

i dont expect to see full on sex scenes but WHY R U has exceeded my expectations in chemistry between leads, i wouldnt even call it messy reality, Tutor and Fighter literally wanting to rip the clothes off of each other is realistic

In WHY R U Zon is probably the character version of that homophobia in fans, after initiating sex, making out and having sex for the first time, he was still embarrassed by the idea of Tutor and Fighter lol

i love Zon though, to pure for the world lol

Unlike Sotus where the kiss wouldnt have made sense before the end, this ep had to many fake outs or rejections (they are living and sleeping together), i expect we are gonna get a great kiss eventually but this should have been the ep for it,

yeah, before 3 will be free i would have been like its GMMTV so..., even when watching it i wasnt ezpecting much in terms of a gay storyline, but after watching that their only excuse is they want to milk 2gether and its young (will except anything) fans

its a business so i get it

this is how past shows have been, they spend most of the series not being a couple and then at the end they become a couple and we get a nice kiss, im used to it, however from the beginning 2gether didnt feel like the typical GMMTV BL show, so maybe thats why some people expected more kisses or skinship (doesnt mean sex by the way)

i think personally the thing that is lacking is them being a couple its not just a 2gether problem its a BL problem

Kao is the worst. Spends the whole series refusing to publicly acknowledge his relationship with Pete afraid to come out of the closet to his mum (fully aware of their relationship, she'd have to be deaf, blind and dumb to not be) not caring about Petes feelings but when he finally does, the first thing he does is outs Non (who is actually quite innocent in the show) to his homophobic Dad because it was affecting him, again not caring about anothers feelings

unpopular opinion but the show did Non dirty
