i felt like that during the TharnType and UWMA thought id outgrown BLs but then 2gether and WRU happened and realised i still need them, its part of me now lol

i think we have to admit GMM doesnt do couples well, they are good at the anticipation and build up but whenever the main leads become a couple, things become weird and all the chemistry goes away, take Sotus, like most BLs its mainly them figuring out how they feel about each other until the last ep and like 2gether we also had a scene revealing how Kongpob liked Arthit the whole time, but unlike 2gther they werent a couple at this point so there wasnt to much expectation for physical intimacy, however SotusS they were supposedly a couple for 3yrs yet did not remotely act like a couple

GMM actors all tend to have better chemistry than the characters they play, so its like they are instructed to dial back the intimacy, it was weird to the point that i though maybe the actors arent friends and werent comfortable being intimate with other guys but thats clearly not the case

dont get me wrong, the idea of Tine still being uncomfortable makes no sense, also since they moved in together all the "couple" moments weve seen feel more like BrightWin friendship than WatTine relationship

speaking of WRU, its leads were definitely on a different level of chemistry

i mean the theme of the show is stalking really lol

i think some of the hype is due to a lot of people who had never seen a Thai BL suddenly watching 2gether , so they have no frame of reference and even the bromance is new to them

dont get me wrong, the show started of great and even i was hyped back then lol

offer to comfort, this is what i think is important, even if Tine still felt uncomfortable (why? they live together and share a bed ), but if he happened to feel uncomfortable about how to approach Sarawat intimately that should be a scene of its own, have Tine at least appear to want to hug Sarawat or something

im like you and not to keen on phycial contact but would hope if it was someone i liked, id at least make the effort

not sure if you watched it and im not saying its the best example of a relationship, but in TharnType, the moment Type leaned in and played with Tharns hair that was intimate as hell

however, this being a GMM show, in the last ep we're gonna get a proper kiss and it will most likely be Tine who initiates it so, theres that to look forward to i guess lol

it is strange, not even "its only 13+" can be used as an excuse for not hugging or touching in a way that doesnt say "hes my bro"

im not asian so i cant say for sure, but asian countries dont seem to view intamacy between guys immediately as gay like western countries tend to do, so youd think they would be a bit more intimate i guess

on the coach, Sarawat resting his head on Tine, or on the bus to get away from the rain, they could have at least sat next to each other, that immediately drew my attention

this, its weirder because Sarawat seemed like a character who would have used these opportunities to do so.

i mean one of the 1st things he said to Tine when they met was "ill kiss you til you drop" (even though he was panicking, sarawat was shown to be a sexual guy) where is this Sarawat, and if hes no longer here because the show is 13+ maybe you need to reevaluate what shows you make

also had Tine been a girl, the lack of affection would still be weird!!!

TopTap was cool as Type but Man/Type stalking/harassing until you do something nice for them and then they fall you angle was something

Man is obviously a great friend but his actions towards Type have been questionable from the beginning

lol i wonder why they went with 13+, when most of their other BLs are at least 15+

all i'll say is

excluding pt4, the ep felt weak, first time ive felt like skipping parts

just gonna wait for the obligatory "Best Episode/Series Ever" comments before saying anything else lol

some 2gether fans are still kids and probably cant legally watch porn so... lol

to be honest i havent read or tried to read the books, as want to experience the shows fresh
but yeah i understand that the books definitely are a lot smuttier and the characters arent as innocent as we are led to believe lol

each time Fighter and Tutor looked act each you could feel the sexual tension

yeah too many under developed storylines but all had me curious and wanting to see more though

Yeah Tossara was something, but it gave us the actor for Bar so i am grateful for that

excluding Gun, the En of Love series has a good looking cast though lol

Just looked on the HIS page and apparently its biggest flaw was it wasnt a typical Thai BL lol

yeah, i try not to compare the shows too much as they are all different but even when i do, i try do it in a way im not bashing one show to make another look better.

i like 2gether but claiming yesterdays ep was the best ep ever, is kind of insulting to 2gether lol

This has generally been a great season for BLs even My Engineer surprised me

dont get me wrong i agree about the story telling, especially how the plot kind of just disappeared, i was curious to see where all the plots were going. I am probably a bit biased because after TharnType and UWMA (which unfortunately i couldnt finish) it was nice having a BL that was relatively drama free and light hearted (minus fighters dad plot)

maybe personally the beach scenes felt like a rewards "youve watched so many BLs, seen so many good looking thai guy not be very intimate, so heres all the scenes you hoped for over the years in 2hrs" lol

i already said it before but most of my original comment was directed at 2gethers page (which is currently a mess, thanks to yesterdays ep lol)

haha its ok, its nice being able to talk about these shows with people who accept other peoples opinions

yeah, looking at their past comments Liz was expecting a thai like BL written for and by a female

i'd definitely say this is more a coming of age story for gay men, not that females cant enjoy it

this, its insulting to call it porn (not that porn necessary is bad) but for WHY R U to be considered less than just because it focused a bit more on the physical side of a relationship is pretty much slut shaming lol
