Anyone have their subs on the top of the screen for this episode on iqiyi?? I'm trying to watch now and it's driving…
same thing happened to me, does anyone know how to fix this ? i've been waiting to watch the new episode all day but the subtitles on top are so distracting
the way you don't even comprehend what i said at all. YOU think it's the acting while some people don't think it's the case. Nobody said that his acting can't be improved but some people just explaining why his emotion is more reserved, why he is not as expressive when seeing ghost. You're the one who took offence on people trying to explain these things to you. Nobody trying to police your opinion because you can still comment like other people.
Because people understands character differently ? saying someone not understanding the character is not demeaning that person's intelligence, it's basically just a discussion on how different people perceive a character. That is simply because a lot of people are different (due to life experiences) when it comes to relating or rationalising a character's attitude, emotions or body languages. Some people think bad acting while some people think that is how the character is supposed to be portrayed, it is what it is. If people don't reply to the comments, then there will be no discussion at all.
Regarding the infringing on other's opinion is basically normal in every space. No discussion will be made if all the comments are just the OP giving their opinion without people replying. Plus, people rarely replied to the ones praising his acting maybe because a lot of people agreed and there's nothing further to discuss. I mean, if you disagree you can freely replied to those comments. It's just the people praising his acting are much more than the ones who don't. If you decide to give a criticism on a show, there will always be people who reply because that's just how a discussion works. As long as they are not being rude or offensive, i don't think it's that much of a problem and if people replying make you not want to watch the actor's future project, maybe you shouldn't dwell around the comment section
I mean when you decided to post your opinion on here publicly, of course people will engage with you especially if you have differing opinions. I agree that all actors should take more acting lesson to improve their skill but a lot of people might not see what you see. You don't see chemistry but a lot of people do, you see bad acting but a lot of people might see good acting and it's true that sometimes no matter how well an actor portray a character, not everyone will understand their pov. This literally happened to all shows or movies. Idk how you manage to get that people are belittling your intelligence when it's just about how we perceive or relate to the character in the show. It is literally subjective.
just because people praised his acting doesn't mean they are glazing him ? you see what you want to see and others also have the right to reply to your opinion. There are many scenes that showcase his acting ability but some of y'all are so hyperfixated on one thing that y'all are quick to call him a bad actor. We can all agree that these actors have room for improvements but what i cannot accept is people trying to masked hate as criticism because wdym some of yall fast forwarding the episode or only watch for certain character and then claim to be giving a good criticism ?
The last few eps have been really impressive to me. Episode 10 in particular, which I thought would be slightly…
i really your analysis, it just shows that you really took the time to watch the show and provide a good insight on each characters/scenes and how it is vital to the essence of the stories. imo, some people watch a show and they only took it at face value rather than analysing why the scene is important or why the characters make certain choices. Thank you for this :P
But the actor who played khem is kinda weak among whole cast but he is the main character which I have to feel…
Don't worry, some people always comment this kind of thing every week when new episode comes out (especially on Namping's acting). The way the whole possessed scenes already showed how versatile he is as an actor. I also think he is perfectly casted. He needs to show a lot of emotions (scared, hopelessness, kindness) in basically every episode. Idk how people watch this show and think he is annoying when he basically trying his best to survive while carrying the burden of people who died because of him.
Am I the only one who thinks Namping’s acting is really bad? He shows the same emotion in every episode, which…
yes, because you're a hater probably. Imagine watching 9 episodes filled with details, emotions, great scripts and still thinking his acting is bad. Are you watching with your eyes closed ?
I don't know if it's Nampings acting or his character, but i feel like the acting is weak compared to the rest…
really ? from ep 8 alone, there's a lot facial expression in different scenes. The interrupted kiss scene at the start, the jealousy during prim and pharan's moments. All the happy moments from the kiss, giving cushion (when he wanted to hide his relationship with pharan from charnjet) and nc scenes. Plus, in this episode there's a lot of staring to showcase what the characters are feeling so i'm not sure what you mean by 'don't know if we've seen more than 3 facial expressions of him'. All 4 characters have distinct personalities and dynamics between them so i think they portray it very well.
some people here commented about namping's lack of facial expression but from watching this episode, i think he expressed his emotions very well especially in different scenes :-
sad - when he discovers the cassette tape jealousy - during prim and pharan moment concerned - grandma si's scenes happy - kiss scene, when he want to give the cushion to pharan, nc scene (had to include that lol)
idk about yall, but imo their chemistry is overflowing. I think pharan is more stoic due to his character but keng portrayed him so well. His eyes soften every time he looks or talks to khem. So, i think both of the main leads did really well with their respective characters.
NP's acting is a bit disappointing tbh .it's killing the vibe between them .it's making the scenes awkward than…
i'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but seeing the shady comments towards namping (multiple times) that came from the same accounts make me think there's a lot of people that watch this show just to hate on him.
Thank you 😭😭😭. I Felt like a bad person, They can't even cry 😭The series is not all that. The series…
nobody said that you can't share an opinion but looking from your other comments here, it just shows that you're salty that khemjira is more popular than shine at the moment. You can like shine all you want but don't expect people to not disagree with you when you're purposely come to khemjira comment section and replying shady comments. I don't really like shine due to the political nature of the show but i will not waste my time by going to the comment section and replying shady comment about the show. A lot of people like khemjira for the storytelling, thai culture and the cinematography. That alone should answer your questions on why it is popular. Thanks :)

girl sthu, you've been yapping in this comment section that you don't like it. WE GET IT, you don't need to put multiple comment trying to change people's mind about this show. Maybe if you put more effort promoting your favourite show that is airing rn, then it would've been more popular. People like different things, just because you think it's overrated and overhyped doesn't mean others think the same. The fact that this show has good plot and highlights Thai culture appropriately is already rare in Thai BL. Maybe this kind of show is not for you. You can go back watching other bl where they focus more on kissing and touching each other rather than the actual storyline.
But why do I feel differently🥲 I feel like he is doing quite well for a rookie actor. Especially in the scenes…
i agree with you, as a rookie actor i think he can act quite well given the circumstances of his character. People might only view Khem as a damsel in distress, but it's not easy when you're on the verge of dying while having ghosts coming at you all the time (lol). At the end of the day, he's just trying to survive. imo, Namping managed to portray Khem's softness and his resilience without being too cringey. Plus, Khem in the series is way sassier than in the novel and i really appreciate that.
