(i didn't read the novel) I'm not against a stiff posture or intense stare for the character. But it is the exact same facial expression/stare in every.single.scene. Like come on...cdramas take creative liberties with many things when adapting a novel. They couldn't add one more expression for FL ??? lolol sigh
Rebirth's storyline is good and it works well as a standalone imo. I watched Princess agents ages ago and have forgotten most things, and i'm still enjoying the Rebirth story. BUT the acting is still so weak😫 CQ... is that paralysed intense stare the only thing Chu Qiao can do? lol does she not blink? and can't she move her eyebrows. I get she's a bit rigid, intense, and righteous in her character but the wide-eyed unblinking death stare for everyscene is too much lol sigh. YX...Yan Xun also does the unblinking intense stare lol. Like please sir, anger and anguish etc needs some eye and facial movements. Ximeng slave queen...really needs to listen to zhuge yue and stop trying to kill every chance she gets. It's the only intimidation act she knows. lol it's funny
Zhuge Yue and Li Ce saving this show in terms of acting. They are doing really well and I enjoy seeing these characters on screen (even if Li Ce character is written to be a bit annoying lol)

the acting in the first 2 episodes is so poor...when was this show made? Are the SML and FL newbie actors? I don't follow cdrama actors too much but Li Yun Rui needs to show up quick and save this drama. The plot seems weak at this point...I'm a bit bored. I hope it gets better.
