Actually, IDF had already warned us weeks before if anything went wrong that fans would get refund from the organizer.…
Yeah it was the Secret Love cast that posted pictures. It was so unorganized and they weren't treated well at all. I'm glad Idol Factory kids weren't there for long and made the most out of the last day with fans.
SCOY isn't but "stalking for love" has been one of the oldest and most common tropes of romance and a staple of…
There are spoilers in this btw. But I had to include it to give you the whole picture. So if you are not a fan of spoilers before watching a series... Sorry lol.
if you go by the synopsis only then I get how you might get that idea but I would probably suggest you watch it and decide for yourself.
Thats the thing, Toh's habits were never normalized or never seen as cute. Yes Nuea saw him around campus with his camera and was curious about him to the point of making the first contact and even kept appearing in front of Toh unannounced (would you call that stalking as well?). The main thing was collecting some things that were questionable not stalking per say as he only took pics of Nuea at school events. If you have watched the series then you will notice the stark difference with what Toh was doing and what Kong(Toh look alike) was doing. Kong was literally following Toh even to the bathroom that made him so uncomfortable and was afraid.
The post below is from a commenter on here by the name of ULGNAI And it was one of the best explanation of NueaToh characters.
"What I got from his actions, especially after meeting his parents is that he grew up in a Loving home but was still told since young he was not beautiful or was ugly and then when he started going to school, he might have felt more self conscious because he was made to believe since his younger days from his most trusted family, that he did not possess a face that is fully acceptable to the world. And based on his mom's "obsession" with handsome men, we learn how looks are coveted in society and if you dont have the looks, then it'll be hammered into you that you are not good enough.
That is why I Loved Nuea's view of Toh. Nuea told Toh that he is cute on multiple occasions and told him to be himself and did not ever want him to change himself because he loved him the way he was. The last episode, when Nuea brought all Toh's collection into his home and made a display of it without making Toh ashamed... that sealed the deal for me. Nuea was the only person in Toh's life, from childhood until now, that ever showed a full and total acceptance of him without any strings. Nuea is the only person in Toh's life that Loves and accepts him for who he is.
Can you imagine? A person you've had been crushing on for a long time tells and shows you, no matter what you reveal about your true self, and no matter how much society says you dont deserve this, that person is there fully, without any conditions, to show you your worth that you have never believed you had. By doing this, Nuea was not encouraging Toh's "habits" but telling him, it is ok now. I am with you now and what you've collected so far is more then enough and from now on, since our feeling is mutual, lets be present together and look forward to our future that involves only Us!"
please share your thoughts once you get a chance to finish it! :)
I honestly did not expect to fall for this series as I did. I'm still in post SCOY withdrawal (I just started watching another BL series after putting off watching any BL since this series ended in mid May). This is the only series where I liked all the characters, even the antagonists. The communication, acceptance, love, friendship, cringe, 2nd hand embarrassment ... everything was there and I couldn't have enjoyed it More (It's now my standard when it comes to relationships or friendships). Not sure what episode you're at but I do want to see a spin off for TouchDaisy and TorSom.
The ending was more than I expected. I read the novel so I knew what was coming most of the time but the last episode made me laugh and cry with all of them. Dare I say, it was better than the novel? Normally when a novel is made into a series, esp. for BL, it has let me down more than once so having SCOY follow most of the storyline from the novel and even adding to it and making it better will stay with me for a while. I've never made a review on MDL and I saw a tweet about how some were being nasty towards the characters/actors and the series so I wanted to come here and share my 2cents.
lmao I started watching this because everyone was talking about a faucet and I wanted to know what happened and Yes it was annoying how the water kept running lol. It's an ok series so far. I haven't watched KP but I've heard things about it so I dont really have anything to compare this to so I'll just enjoy it. XD
I've been having SCOY withdrawal. I miss BillySeng and I've been rewatching videos of theirs for the past few days and I can NOT wait for them in this series. I think they'll be the first Couple (New couple)- The extra teaser we got at Billy's Birthday was Freeaking insane!!!! I also cant wait for (Wife) with ToruFirst. Kong in SCOY messed me up Lol but I'm ready to watch First do what he does! XD
Can you suggest similar bl? Like rom-com for adults without consent violation?
I wouldn't say similar but Secret Crush on you? I watched CP while it aired and SCOY after it finished airing and I have to say I wish I watched SCOY while it aired. I would say I liked it more than CP.
Everything in this series was done perfectly. Everyone had a role to play and they played it so well. I sometimes…
Agreed! Especially this part ..."I hope that you open your mind and heart to understand people that are different than you are. " THIS! Thank you for this!
