I've heard a couple people say this. But I didn't read any of that as vindictive, yo. It read as desperate and reactionary. Kind of like grabbing for a life preserver/flotation device when you really don't need one. But it didn't come across to me as premeditated desire to hurt Khluen.

Bro, I feel like this is another one of those things like in Cutie Pie where two people aren't communicating, but what makes one person's lack of communication a shade worse than the other person's is where the problem stems from. In this case Nuea doesn't always communicate well because he's got that squirrelly insecurity thing going on. And the less secure he is in Khluen's affections, the more squirrelly he gets. Khluen, on the other hand, doesn't communicate at all. IDEK, bro. I can't even tell you where he's coming from. It's a mystery. The only thing he's done so far that made any sense to me was punching Phoon.

Honestly, I think Nuea just wants a normal romance. I get that. I'm more of a tap n' go sort myself, but even I get the whole picket fence thing. At this rate he's going to start wrecking shit and his villain backstory is going to be "Khluen. Nuff said.".

I wanna feel bad for Khluen. But there's a story snag here, yo. I've got zip in the way of any explanation for why he pulls the shit he pulls. Is he emotionally constipated? Is he some kind of inhibited, deeply tortured artist? Is he autistic spectrum? Did a Sea Witch steal his fucking voice? Is someone preventing him from behaving in a normal way by holding his kitten hostage? What is his fucking deal, man?

As everyone keeps pointing out, it's a show, not real life. What we gets on screen is what we gets. And it's enough to judge toxicity. Because toxic behaviors are pretty common and they're easy to spot.

But yo, toxicity isn't even the problem. It's the fact that it's presented as cute and kind of like the appropriate way to handle Kuea. Which is creepy, TBVH. I mean, I don't mind toxicity from characters if it's fed to us as a flaw. But this wasn't. And yeah, the lazy/bad plotting is a real problem.

I actually am watching La Cuisine, which is cute, if a little saccharine, yo. But I'm groovin' to Plus & Minus, and Triage. BPG (BadPennyGirl) lines up stuff to watch and several of us latch onto her watches to catch her reviews. Though she's sticking with Star In My Mind and that drama is not it. I'm finally sitting down to watch Not Me, and loving the hell out of it. So I have plenty that I'm currently enjoying.

Bro, I get Nuea. He's getting wound up. He's silly for letting himself get wound up. But then that's 18 for you. One minute Khluen is all rude, then he's closet concerned when no one is watching, then he's sincere and earnest about their relationship and the next minute he's like "Wait here, I gotta go save Lois Lane. We can talk later." There comes a time when you gotta put in the effort and focus and communicate or you are essentially yanking a bro around.

I feel like Nuea's emotions are kind of high. But he's in love and getting a lot of mixed signals that are fucking shit up. I feel like the one wrong thing he did was hold onto the hurt of the initial rejection back in the day. And I've heard bros go "Well, Nuea was leaving, what was Khluen supposed to say?" And the answer to that is "You have feelings for me? I have feelings for you too. Let's stay in touch." Khluen's communication clog is like 90% of the problems they have.

Yo, even Nuea's walz off stage left made a certain degree of sense, given how Khluen handled that whole thing. Bro could have prevented all of it if Khluen had just taken 30 seconds to explain what Gia needed him for and then maybe taken Nuea along.

Khluen from time to time is like "You don't even get how I feel." But he spends a fuck ton of time specifically ignoring how Nuea feels. I would not be in a relationship with Khluen. He's fuckable, tho. Nuea would be pretty good boyfriend material if you just gave him some weed. That would crank the boy down a notch or two.

Feelz all over the damn place. It's like they dumped a casserole on the floor and it was made of emotions, yo. Splattering that stuff everywhere.
