You know how Shakespeare's comedies end in weddings and tragedies end in funerals...? This drama is a romantic comedy so I'm expecting a wedding next ep unless the writer tries to subvert Shakespeare lmao... But if Black had a happy ending then I'm 100% certain this show will have one too
And I don't understand why Gayoung told Rara to break up with Jun if that was before they found out he was sick???
Gayoung is the fake girlfriend that told Rara to break up with Jun when she went to go see him outside his house after he didn't show up for their date. This was before Jun found out he was sick so he hadn't teamed up with her to trick Rara yet
First I would like to apologize to Gayoung I am so sorry and you are doing amazing sweetie! Glad the writer didn’t continue with the mean and jealous 2nd girl trope but terminal illness?? In the 15th ep??? I was floored. I know the writer’s been hinting at this since the first ep but it didn’t really pay off imo, the emotional aftermath lasted like 5 seconds and there are a bunch of less flabbergasting reasons they could’ve introduced to force Jun to go abroad. Reversing one trope only to throw in another one is still tiring and it feels like I’m on an episode of Punk’d. And lmao @ Jun being ddsslls I should’ve known from Shopping King Louis omg the interwoven threads of fate is such a prevalent theme……….. Anyway, CUTE episode but could’ve done without the leukemia slap in the middle.
WHY are the crying in the preview for the next ep?? where the wedding we all deserve???????
So annoying the last few eps. I would have rathered the whole, let's break up, so we both can grow individually…
I think they will get married because we've already seen Rara getting married to too many other men that are not the main lead, and also it would tie things together nicely with Hayoung and Seunggi's business.
this drama has so many ambiguously antagonistic characters and then the new girl straight up drugs Jun right off the bat like?? There's only 2 eps left, no redemption arc for you, just get out of my sight as soon as possible!! If this mess drags on until ep 16 then please someone give me Oh Ji Young's email address so that I can send her all my grievances
Can the actors actually play piano? I was worried about it because most of the time music scenes make me cringe…
Go Ara plays the piano, but I believe they use doubles as well. Someone posted a screenshot of a scene where you can see a woman wearing a mask in place of Go Ara (It was during the piano duet scene though I can't seem to find it myself so maybe it was super brief - I found it: https://youtu.be/-3zzhhAKmB8?t=173).
I didn't fall for the wedding thing so I can't believe I fell for Dr. Cha as ddsslls!! Also wowed by how Secretary Moon is just pursuing his dreams as an actor (btw, the same actor played go ara's teacher in 2005 so they really do go way back). I like how the writer tends to subvert our expectations, so because of that (and for my own sanity) I'm not going to worry too much about the next ep. But I won't make any more guesses in case I look like a fool again.
I'm in the same dilemma. I can't seem to get pass episode one so I skipped it, then episode two was just as dull.…
They confess their feelings at the end of ep 8 but they're basically co-dependent starting from ep 2. I've never seen love alarm but there is a love triangle in that there is another man pursuing the female lead. Or maybe like a love square since there's a girl that has a crush on the male lead? But the two main leads aren't swayed by them and only have eyes for each other.
There wasnt chemistry because they didnt love each other yet. Their chemistry is the most natural Ive ever seen…
adding onto this I suggest you watch go ara and lee jaewook playing games on the swoon! I like their real life chemistry there and maybe it will help you warm up to the female lead

Did you like the thriller aspects of swdbs? There is a minor thriller/mystery subplot in ddsslls but it doesn't become important until the latter half. I saw that you don't like the female lead, and I would say she starts to become more self dependent at around ep 4. If you're watching for LJW then his character doesn't really open up until about ep 5
really hope the nosebleed thing + health check up suggestion isn't going to lead into anything because with 4 eps left I think it's time to wrap things up
