I seriously love this series!! The actresses have beautiful chemistry and I love how "Phi Moo" still wants to…
Thank you so much for this comment! I know a lot of people are upset at Earn because of how she broke up with Fahlada, but it's complicated given that it's her mom who is responsible for creating misunderstandings. She can't even bring herself to apologize because then she has to mention Fahlada's mom. Earn is naive and a woman with a good heart so is always getting taken advantage of. Hopefully the misunderstandings will be clarified but I am sure Fahlada will feel a great sense of betrayal from her homophobic mom when the truth comes out
The characters have a 6 year age gap but how they first met and became lovers is very wholesome. Both feel like…
Yeah they are both consenting adults without any weird age gap (like high schooler or an employee with an employer for example) so the 6 year age difference is not an issue for me at all (also according to the show it seems like they are both studying and working) and the way they became lovers is very wholesome indeed. Looking forward to their chemistry in the next episodes :)
Finally a GL without any creepy age gap and/or power dynamic. Seems like it will be a mature sweet love story with BEAUTIFUL female leads I couldn't keep my eyes away from the screen, especially ORM. Omg she is so gorgeous it should be illegal to be that pretty.
Otherwise, good chemistry, I liked the pacing of the first episode, I love how their relationship developed so naturally and I loveeed seeing them be girlfriends together, my heart <3 Ready for some angst in the next episodes, I'm sure Earn will get back Lada because she's such a cute, charming lady I mean who can resist her I know I can't lol
I'm rewatching it as of 2024 and you're right they have good chemistry. Wish they kept San Deul dead don't know…
They gave San Deul too much screen time compared to Tae Poong who is supposed to be the main lead. They treated Tae Poong like the SML when they could have given us more scenes with TP and BR.
I'm a little nervous about the pacing of this drama....given we already got a confession, kiss and how fast the relationship is progressing, I have a feeling it's going to get really frustrating for the rest of the drama given some of the toxic characters like DR mom and JD
SJ’s stepsister is madly obsessed with her and seriously crazy. At this point I strongly believe a restraining…
Yeah pretty sure the stepsister will lead to SJ's downfall. I'm guessing she will spread rumors and videos about SJ which will cause her to lose public support and maybe even her job
I would have to disagree with the rudeness being unnecessary. Yes, she is ultra "independent", but when you consider…
I love your assessment of Su Ji and her potentially unhealthy relationship with Hyun Sung. Hyun Sung is just not a good fit for her because he can't handle the extent of her issues. Her avoidant personality traits are extreme and given how anxious Hyun Sung is (probably due to his own family issues), he constantly tries to "fix" her problems and wants to be the "knight in shinng armor" but that will only create more constraints in their relationship. Although Su Ji did accept Hyun Sung's confession, she is clearly not ready for a relationship now given her life situation and understandably drawing the line because she is a fiercely independent woman due to her own complexes while growing up including issues with abandonment, guilt, being the sole breadwinner in the family and constantly having to fend for herself as well as dealing with the psychological bullying and manipulation she has experienced from her family throughout her life. Even drawing a clear boundary with U Ri and her best friend because she has serious issues with trust and due to her upbringing. I relate to her character because I used to do this in my relationships as well. I find her character to be so interesting and complex (compared to any other daily drama heroines I know) because there's a lot going on with her actions and how she represses and deals with her trauma. On the outside she looks like a perfect and successful individual but she has a lot of psychological issues that she has tried dealing with through her career as a child psychiatrist. She is the perfect archetype of the "Wounded Healer" and due to her guilt and lack of self-esteem she is unable to process her issues so she counter-transfers these psychological problems on her patients and does a damn well job at healing her patients because she is so in tune with their concerns on a subconscious level. It would be really interesting to see her treat A Ra because A Ra's situation is exactly what she had experienced as a child, not to mention A Ra is now adopted by her mom who supposedly abandoned her in her eyes.
I find the ML's character so attractive. He is empathetic, funny and a good listener. Also growing up with his found family has made him value kindness but at the same time he has his own complex story that we are yet to learn about (I love the analogy of the salt flat that he used during his conversation when comforting Su Ji) I think his characteristics would lead him to be a very good partner. I just adore Uri so much and I can't wait for our main couple to fall in love although I know it's going to be a long and grueling process given all the misfortune that is about to happen in Su Ji's life. But at the same time it should leave room for them to get closer in the process :) Really enjoying this daily drama, I really hope it doesn't get too makjang and frustrating now that Su Ji's fall from grace is about to happen.
