Kang Doo is like the second coming of Baek Inho from Cheese in the Trap and I am loving it.

Sorry I didn’t respond in time, but Axl explained what happened! :)

Can someone please tell me what happened in the last few episodes. I stopped watching from ep 10 and I don’t…
I don’t know how much you want spoiled, but yes, Moo Young did kill someone and then someone else died beside that person. The ending was definitely tragic.

Out of all the dramas I have seen, this is my favorite. It never bored me, it was a thrill from start to finish. The cinematography, acting and atmosphere were top notch and everybody did a great job.

Person Seo In Guk
This is ridiculous, but I keep thinking “Korean Francisco Lachowski” whenever I see him in “the Smile has Left Your Eyes”, especially from profile or en trois quarts. Am I mad?

I was with you until you said she “disobeyed” her brother. She’s a grown-ass woman who can make her own…
You’re not offending anyone, you have every right to dislike a character! Like I said, I actually like Jin Kang. My real beef is with Jin Gook’s female friend. I don’t even know why but she annoys me so much!

Haha I’m not pissed off at her, but I am shocked with some of her decisions. I’m impressed with you for continuing a drama when you’re so annoyed with a major character, I don’t have the willpower. I’ve dropped so many series because I couldn’t stand the main leads!

Yeah, I feel like it’s realistic, especially since I myself am easy to manipulate and always drawn to attractive but... not necessarily good people lol. I mentioned in another comment that the way Moo Young got close to Jin Kang was pretty similar to the way he got close to Seung Ah. He observes, realizes what you want and then acts that way. Seung Ah wanted someone who would treat her differently than her mother and boyfriend, Jin Kang seems like the kind of person who’d protect someone troubled and misunderstood. With each episode I’m less inclined to believe that he’s playing her, but tbh for me the suspicion is still there.

I like Jin Kang and I don’t want her to regret her decision, but I feel like she will. She wants a sheltered bad boy that she can change into a puppy and that’s just wrong on so many levels. I’m 100% sure it will backfire on her. And Um Cho Rong IS the best character! I love him so much!

I guess I'm the only one who is rooting for the brother lol. That stabbing scene was makjang but it just made…
I was with you until you said she “disobeyed” her brother. She’s a grown-ass woman who can make her own choices. Jin Gook doesn’t own her and his acting aggressively towards her was sure to make her lose some of her trust towards him. I’m surprised Jin Kang forgave him so easily.

I mean... that depends on what you got bored with. You need to be more specific
You literally didn’t bother at all.
How can anyone help you if your problem is purely subjective? I’ve liked the drama from the start so obviously I would recommend it to you, but I won’t because I don’t know the aspect you got bored with. I can’t with absolute certainty tell you that “it got better”. Don’t get mad at people who still try to help you despite your question being half assed.

After watching ep 6 I can''t seem to understand where was implied that she also fell for In Guk. For him- there…
I think it’s important to note that Moo Young is shown to be a charming person. His physical attractiveness makes him alluring, but so does the bad boy vibe he gives off and to top all of that off he is a great manipulator. He determines what approach he needs to lure in a particular person and it’s become a game to him.

He drew in Seung Ah by standing up to her boyfriend, showing her that he understands her but also challenging her (“if you don’t want to do it, just don’t”, “oh, but you do want it”) and then ultimately breaking the vase. He “saved” her from a compromising situation and she started associating him with her chance at freedom - all because he approached her differently from her boyfriend or mother.

With Jin Kang the situation is different. First she feels distaste for him, but it was provoked by his behavior. Then the push and pull starts - he goes back and forth between being rudely straightforward and doing nice things. He even tells her the truth about his upbringing, something she can tell he doesn’t share with anyone. This brings a feeling of camaraderie as they both dislike being pitied for their being orphans.
Jin Kang, who is a very caring person (as shown in her relationships with her brother and Seung Ah) feels drawn to this sheltered, lonely and emotionless person. They both do things to protect one another and so the bond strengthens. I am not sure how sincere Moo Young’s feelings are and to be honest I feel like their relationship plays perfectly into the scheme he used with Seung Ah before, but I understand why Jin Kang has feelings for him. Even if irks not love, he displaced and fascinates her and it’s obvious she thinks about him, especially since their paths often cross and she views him as misunderstood.

I hope this helps a bit, because I think in terms of character and relationship development this drama is doing a great job!

I really love Seo In Guk but for some reason, I'm hesitant to watch it.. And I really don't know why
He’s doing amazing and so are the others, I am very immersed! I recommend that you wait until it’s finished, because I, for one, am dying at the thought of having to wait another week for the next ep!

I think it's really interesting that Jin Gook pointed out that Moo Young always throws in the truth in his "jokes",…
I couldn’t have phrased this better! Seung Ah has also been getting on my nerves; I really felt for her, but she’s a terrible friend. She only cares about herself! Not only did she not bother to apologize for the slap, now she’s blaming her supposed best friend for her ex-“boyfriend”’s feelings! I can’t understand why Jin Kang is so upset at Moo Young for ruining their friendship when it was already beyond saving.
