Thank you for all your hard work! I also hate when people think that just because you know two languages you can easily translate between them. If it were that easy and could be done on the spot, we wouldn’t be getting educated specifically on becoming translators!
Just finished this drama. And i've got to say, i enjoyed every moment of it. Especially the bromance between the…
Same! On one hand I wish they made a sequel, but on the other I feel like the ending was so definite... and everything just wrapped up. Glad you enjoyed the show too!
I was annoyed by the unnecessary drama in the last episode. Dr Oh saved Nam Sin 3 from the kill switch in like a second, David could probably do it in the time it took him and So Bong to bicker about whether he should save the human Nam Sin or not.
Aside from this, I enjoyed the show immensely. Yena’s development was great!
1) Laura is SOMEWHAT excused in my eyes since I get her now... I didn’t consider her point of view and how she must’ve simply felt guilty about having treated this robot as her son. Trying to sever her ties to him by destroying him was scummy, but I think her redemption is (almost) complete in my eyes
2) A part of me still feels really sorry for the human Nam Shin - he was abducted from his mother, probably had a miserable and lonely (though rich) childhood with a grandpa who clearly doesn’t love him and had all these expectations put on him... plus a possible gay love with a secretary (this is a headcanon I will never let go of).
3) I also feel bad for Ye Na. You can see from the start she really loves Nam Shin since she’s such a ride or die when it comes to him... and the way she reacted after overhearing her dad’s confession. That must’ve been a double heartbreak for her. Yeah, she does act like a spoiled brat, but look at who raised her!
I honestly feel like I am a masochist when I watch kdramas, because the abundance of cliches in some of them gives me so much secondhand embarrassment... Especially the wrist grabbing and whatnot. Oh, also the jealous ex-girlfriends, evil mothers in law and obligatory hospital visits!
Then again I’m never safe from secondhand embarrassment, I even get it whenever a character lies, so I couldn’t avoid it in any show/movie in the world, lmao
I agree about Min Ha Ri! Obviously she did wrong and made a mistake, but who doesn’t? The important thing is to own up to it in the end and make it right. I definitely felt for her, especially because you could see how good a friend she was to the Main Lead in general.
I would also like to add Baek Seol Hee from “Fight for My Way”, because she was an absolute ray of sunshine and a complete cinnamon roll!
The lineup is still awesome without GRAY x Bewhy, but I was so happy for Bewhy to be a SMTM producer! I’m still naively hoping this entire thing is a stunt and they will show up as a fifth team!
I really don't want them to combine NS and NS3. I hope they remain separate entities, or else it would defeat…
YES! I actually feel like that would be completely ignoring the point they have been making; than Nam Shin III has his own identity and is his own “person”. Combining them together would be kind of disrespectful imo... not to mention, weirdly convenient for So Bong
HI EVERYONE IM INTERESTED IN THIS DRAMA BUT QUESTION!!!!IS IT THE SAME WITH I AM NOT A ROBOT????I'M LOWKEY SCARED…
I think it’s completely different! For one, there is an actual robot and the drama is also not as lighthearted. I mean, there are lots of heartwarming and adorable moments but it touches on a lot of issues and some important questions regarding AI. There is also crime, mystery and a dark past involved. It gives me sooo many feels, I definitely recommend it!
We’re already halfway into the story and if something happens to Nam Shin III I will teleport into the drama and roundhouse kick everyone except for David and So Bong
Ah Ro never stopped crying. You would think a girl would run out of tears at some point but nooooo. Also, Sun…
I really liked Ah Ro at the very beginning; just the idea of a female lead famous for telling saucy stories, her being able to do anything for money and getting drunk in the middle of the day... It all seemed kind of refreshing to me and I considered her an interesting character until the “crying damsel in distress” act came up. I feel like they ruined a perfectly good character in favor of an unnecessary love triangle and I am SO bitter about it! Sorry for the rant!!!

4) Y’all, I told you David was the real MVP!
