me getting gagged at the reveal even though I read the novel was so funny like I was not expecting it so soon and for it to happen like this ? also people who keep complaining about novel may being changed and toned down congratssss it seems like novel may will be finally making an appearance in the next ep cause the crew said ep7 would be from metavee's pov. Truly can't wait for series watched to discover how messy may gets sometimes. 😭

honestly something so hard hitting about them changing may's reasoning for the defending the drunk driver like she really had to lose it all just to be free from her father and to get the chance to be with the woman she loves, like winning the case really costed her dignity and her sense of justice as a lawyer to shreds, her authenticity and also her eyesight in the end. Lost the girl for whom she did all that as well like genuinely can't imagine what may probably went through that time.

well the want to use this series to raise awareness and keep it balanced between romance and drama which is essentially gmmtv's style and honestly if they kept a lot of twists from the novel like in the series then the backlash would've been insane, so I get why the changes were done but I think it's very well made till now.

it is necessary cause it adds depth and motive behind may's actions helping the audience to understand her doings or wrong doings better 🤷

they need to give namtanfilm another gl next year already like idccc this kind of chemistry and acting skills together are very hard to comeby 😭🙏

I really love how oon and may's family trauma interconnects with as to why oonmay feel so drawn to each other and are slowly becoming each other's safe space, like it affects their romantic bonding on a deeper level. It's brilliant.

well if you personally ask me I feel like the adaption is 10 times better than the story, although morally grey I felt like they were pretty one dimensional in the novel but in the series you can clearly see the turmoil and everyone's feeling on display like they're trying to give a background build up to everyone and their reasonings. They're also discussing on a lot of important notions such as disability, familiar sacrifice, homophobia and hierarchy, patriarchy and poverty etc. So for me I'm really happy they changed so much and for the better.

well honestly reading the book will do you no good and I'm saying this as someone who has read it several times, they have completely changed the premise, the characters and their motives. Even people who have read it can't predict at which angle the story is heading towards. 😭

actually after the scene happened in the bus oon decided it's better to take the taxi to drop her home and for the bike part it was parked at may's placed anyway since she came to her house in that, so she took her bike back after dropping may at her place and went back home in that.
