I watched it at Frankfurt Korean Film Festival and it was such a touching movie about grief, uncertainty about the future (career), and friendship. I loved the storytelling and how the characters were written and portayed. Together with beautiful scenes of Jeju-do and great camera work, it was an overall great movie!
Ah, maybe they took the video down, I wrote this comment a few years ago sometimes videos get taken down after some time. Sorry to hear that it's not working anymore :( Update: The video is still working for me, maybe it depends on your country's guidelines :/
So this bothered me a bit but the translation of the video of Hinzpeter at the end of the movie was a bit inaccurate and I had to correct it, so if anyone is interested in what he really said, here's the translation(it's not that different from the one in the movie tho):
"I would be very happy if the seen footage...can't do it..I can't do it..I can well imagine that you'll be found through the shown footage, Kim Sa-Bok. I would be very happy if I could personally meet you again and would then probably, if possible, immediately come to Seoul, Korea, and drive Taxi with you again to see the new Korea."
This drama was so amazing. I just didn't want it to end.. I watched the last episode 3 days after it aired. I think this one is one of my favorite dramas all time. It's not often that a drama like this comes around. It had some important messages and followed its theme throughout the whole drama. (It reminded me a bit of Another Oh Hae Young, it somehow had the same vibes sometimes..maybe it was just the feelings I had while watching both)
I watched this movie at the Korean culture center at some movie circle (I'm not sure if that's the right word for it..) and a film critic was there. She really tried hard not to fall asleep in the first 30 minutes :'D sums it up pretty well...
My favourite thing about Korea is not only Kdramas or Kpop, but the korean language. The language is beautiful. Another thing I like is the culture, and the historical architechture.
Well, I like a lot about Korea. It has such an interesting culture, good food, kdrama and kpop. The fashion industry is very creative and amazing as well (especially if you're interested in fashion like me). The language is so beautiful (I really want to learn it).
I remember telling my mom about how much I actually hated the plot of I love my president though he's a psycho and all she said was 'why are you watching it then?' and I didn't even know how to answer... I didn't know why I couldn't stop watching it xD
