XFF winning the idgaf war when it comes to SYR 🫡 she basically said if princess wanning wants trash so bad, she can keep him LOL

i can't stand it when characters blame their current situation on "fate being unfair" when in reality they're the ones who've willingly (and repeatedly!) made the choice to harm innocent people 😩

i'm glad that afterwards he told the princess that he's not going to blame anyone for his actions that night BUT i'm pissed that he's still so passive about it (he's still protecting the shen family and refusing to admit his crimes)

in the end wanning's retaliation /is/ what XFF wanted to trigger but i'm so nervous for her >_<

this is the second time XFF's asked XH if he flew to her residence LMAO he makes the entrance look good and all but this meta joke is too good 😆

why is YSJ fulfilling his SML role this late in the game augh this development is delicious

my cn is not that great but the gist of it is that the emperor is warning XH about his emotional vulnerability (XFF) and to remember what their mission is → in response XH reminds the emperor that he shouldn't forget their original intentions either (to remain good/just/kind) → emperor tells XH that he should protect his own 'pawn' then

YSJ will also finally live up to his SML role? haha

LOUD GASP. in the ep 34 preview XH actually admits to the emperor's face that he's fond of XFF..........

i'd love to know what the turning point was... has he always been that way? or was it only later when he finally entered the palace (and met the princess) that the power got to his head???
