Blindsided by ending

The story was written to make you root for one character, only for that character to get the short end of the stick. Completely ruined the entire series. I actually recommend reading spoilers to see if it's even worth your time.

The story was actually good, but if they wanted us to root for a different character, the writers did a very poor job in making that character likeable.

A fun RomCom - Jisoo was perfectly fine

For what it is, a fun RomCom, it's perfect.

I'm not looking for in-depth back stories, just enough for the story to make sense, and this show did that.

Honestly I was a bit worried with an idol cast as the main lead, but I thought Jisoo was perfect. If anyone takes issue with her acting, it's probably more how the character was written. Honestly I went into it looking for flaws and cringe, but I was pleasantly surprised. Also keep in mind, she is a RomCom character, so she is supposed to be slightly exaggerated in her expressions. And when she needed to be serious, she pulled that off too.

Seo In Guk was fantastic as always. He plays two different characters, and even without the different hair, you can tell the difference.

Some of the cameos were a bit overkill, not gonna lie. Lots of heavy hitters with only a few minutes.

Lee Soo-hyuk is surprisingly hilarious. I've only seen him act in serious dramas or as a serious character, so this was the first time seeing him in a RomCom. He's only in it in the beginning, but he did a fantastic job.

The story was great for me. I think some people assumed it was going to be different boyfriends each episode, but that's not it, and I'm glad it wasn't. It's how Seo Mirae eventually learns to love in the real world.

Anyway, I thought it was fun and sweet. Not too heavy, just a bit of nice entertainment.

Underbaked

This drama had a lot of potential. The cast was fantastic. The actors were fantastic. The plot was funny.

But then it kind of fizzled towards the end. I think they could have done with a full 16 episodes instead of a shorter 12. There were some plot holes that needed to be tied up and the 3 year time jump felt like a cheap method to quickly wrap up the show.

It's a 3 year time jump and we see that the ML and FL are a power couple, but they're struggling financially, with ML balancing three jobs?? They're happier, but the financial struggle really feels like they stopped in the middle of their story.

Overall it was fun to watch. I just wish they ended it properly. Felt like a crash landing.

Well done

Absolutely well done. Love the pacing, love the actors. One of my favorite K-Dramas of all time. Highly recommend.

The rest of this is to allow the review to post. Need a more characters to complete this review. Not sure how many more I need.

Cute turned meh

It started off somewhat interesting. The backdrop of fashion and celebrity were fun concepts, but then it somehow became dull. It started out colorful and promising, and then it got boring.

I was ready to give up around episode 2, but I gave it a few more hoping it would get better. Nope. It does not get better.

I really enjoyed Park Bo Gum as an actor and Byeon Woo Seok made it fun.

But there was no chemistry with the female lead. She's a decent actress, so it might be the writing, but the way she interacts with the two male leads, there's zero chemistry among either of them. We're supposed to root for the main male lead, and feel tension when the second male lead tries to swoop in. But the female lead has such poor chemistry with these two that it's giving off little sister vibes.

I think the combination of poor chemistry and poor writing really threw this drama off. It started off decent, but then it just felt cringey after a while and I couldn't do it anymore. I stopped at episode 6.
