It's suicidal to air that at the same time of Boys Planet, which is way more popular and has better promotion.
I think it's smart, by the time Boys Planet ends, this will still be airing so survival show fans might watch it just to watch something similar. Also, Peak time is airing now and it's highlighting just how few members are talented in boys planet.
ABTO, seem quite weak. Most groups bring something special but they just don't seem to to bring anything different with their performances. Blitzers - ON, gave a better performance tbh.
I wasn't really that impressed with DKB/ NTX performances. I think maybe my expectations were too high for both groups and the performances didn't Wow me. If I had to choose tho NTX were better in my opinion.
The drama with Unit 3 rap group. I had too look up their names, so Heedo the one who has been to a million survival shows and is a survival show expert. It felt as tho I was watching boys planet with all that drama. Was it evil editing, i don't know but it seemed like he wanted to say his opinion and didn't want to listen to anyone else's opinion or cut them off.
Yes, well done for going on all these survival shows but how well did you do? How far did you get??
Hyunjae, the other guy who tried to give his opinion just seemed like he gave up and was like I'm not even going to bother arguing with you because it's pointless and the fact that these two are soloist's in a group together is yikes...But I know next episode they will cry and make up and give hopefully a good performance.
I didn't even know people where voting for Matthew like that. But watching him and Sung Han bin it was cute. He seems really hard working and humble. I wouldn't mind him in the group. However, I feel like there is only room for one western, english speaking person and it will either be Matthew or Jay. Jay has a better voice, one of the best voices on the show.
But Matthew seems more humble and k-fans like that more. And some i-fans too. We shall see.
I felt really bad for a lot of the global trainee's. A lot of talent left. They cudn't even let them win the dance battle, they were leading, honestly felt like the g group shud have won all battles except the final group one, K team was better there. It was just so unfair tbh.
Also, watching this it was interesting to see the difference in trainee's from Korea and the global trainee's from china/ Japan and so on. Korean trainee's for example with dancing they seem very structured, choreography based whilst global trainee's seem to have more natural talents, very different talents, you didn't know what you would get and very diverse. And then they were kicked out.
Trainee's were picked because of visuals...they already had a fanbase, i.e they had already debuted and the biggest is the amount of screentime Mnet gave them.
The crazy thing is the lack of talent here is more obvious.
I just need Gunwook to debut, the debut group will be boring without him.
Mnet evil editing was so obvious, like the G team they would show instructors/ teachers telling them off, show the dancing being off/ or singing but for the K team they would show a little dispute or the other trainee's giving feedback. Notice how we didn't see any G teams getting feedback from the other G groups this episode....hmm.
Oh Krystian...I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt because Mnet's evil editing was crazy. He said one thing and Mnet replayed it like 3/4 times and they were really out to get him, to make him look like a villain.
And also the whole you shudn't have the highlight because you are not strong...strong this and then your too feminine???? Ermm what? You need to be more masculine??? Excuse me?? They could have said put more power into your moves, more energy....more effort. Feminine/ masculine.....hmmm.
But poster child Daeul was given instruction, shown at the rehearsal how to be more powerful. But tbh Krystian didn't really help himself especially with that jump but the wording wasn't right and Kamden? repeating the masculine thing yikes...
Back door K team was amazing, they killed it. I have to say the votes were right there. They were the best team.
I do think that the G team should have won the love me right performance. It was better. Mnet was strategic by putting the G team's performance last week and K teams this week because they knew if the viewers listened to the two so close, it would be very obvious who was better.
K team were not that great, I still think G team was better and I was wowed last week especially with Jay's voice. Hui didn't give me that wow factor, the way he held his mic just made me remember this is a guy in his 30 years with x amount of years in the industry already.
I remember saying last time their only being harsh to Hui so gets the pity/ humble storyline. If he started of and everyone was praising him people wouldn't pity him, he wouldn't be this humble guy guy on tv. It's a play. But when it comes to the performance their perfect. All those my voice is this or that, then during the performance his amazing. It's strategic.
Now people are mad cos it's obvious his probably gonna be in the debut group.
Personally, I don't mind if Hui is in the group, he is a good producer, writer and singer and I have accepted he will probably make it into this group. It is what it is.
Also, the whole K/G side, I read a comment somewhere else of someone who watched the girl version of this and they were like Mnet is messy and most Global trainee's will be voted out for this or that reason and I prepared myself for that so I know if we are lucky maybe the main group will have 3 global members/ 4 if we are very lucky.
I think one member will be from a western country.
I think I heard more bad singing this episode than good singing....
Note to any trainee's interested in going to the future boys planet or whatever new name mnet will change it too. When you are performing and it is for a live audience and their live votes count for everything, show your abs. You will get all the votes. Thank me later.
This show is amazing, made my Friday's so much better. Exceeded all my expectations. Amazing acting, chemistry, storyline, ending. I really really enjoyed this and I already want to re-watch it again and again.
Wud have probably enjoyed this more had it come out in 2016/2015 when we had fewer bls and the quality was bad but we still settled for subpar plots, acting, chemistry.
