His issue is not that he is gay, i imagine they are a few gay idols that we don't know about but it's that we the public know he is gay. The issue is if he does kinship with a member, fans will run to thinking there's more because they know he is gay or if they go on a variety show and the hosts mention it.

I have watched the previous Road to Kingdom editions and I must say, watching the first two episodes of Ace of…
They are quite a few members who were on iland together, produce 101 together, there trainee's at hybe/ bighit and so on together, their probably closer than shown on the show. Ateez/ Mayfly and so on have established fanbases, they were groups that if they did well or not they would be fine.
Alot of the groups on here are still new/ mostly unknown and could possible disband in a year or two. This is like a lifeline to some groups.
Needless to say, i see them cheering for each other alot, but also it's refreshing that they are giving honest opinions when something isn't perfect. But it's kpop so fans will yeah you know...
Hopefully, they will do a sports day and you will see how close the groups are.
I've finally finished this and I'm just angry and annoyed.
This show branded itself as giving groups a second chance, with whatever had happened but the way they handled Karam and group 23:00 was so disappointing. I just remember the judges after team 23:00 second performance going why are u not a huge star, he was a diamond in the rough. Someone who had slipped the net and had been missed in this over-saturated kpop world and peak time had found him again and put him in the spot light and then some random person posts pictures of him at a party with loads of people and a pornstar is there and with no evidence of anything, story's are made up and he is off the show.
He did mention in that horrible apology they were clearly forced to give that there was no validity in those claims and yet they were forced off the show. My thing is he is a 30 year old grown man who hasn't been in the limelight for years. What if he dated?? I would imagine half of the people on that show have dated.
I just think they should have supported him, they should have fact checked and if he had worst case dated the woman who was pornstar years ago, is that a crime???? They should have said that's his private life and we respect that. Let people vote and if people had an issue with it then they cannot vote for him and his group doesn't win and it's over but the way they kicked the group out. The way they forced them to apologise like that.
Karam, I had seen his bl with Leo from Vixx and he was slowly coming back but I didn't even know he was an idol before until this show. He has an amazing voice, his visuals, he can dance and has that stage presence not many have. One thing I really loved about him was his positive spirit and mindset. He seemed like such a positive person and at each stage they cherished the little things this show gave them again and to see that crushed and to see his face when they were apologising. He looked defeated and they don't deserve him.
He cud have slowly build some career now without this show and they ruined it.
And then I think about the high suicide rates in Korea and with idols too, I would think at some point someone wud say their humans, they shud be allowed to party, to date.

They rough played/ teased her hard… (was he pushing her ‘teasingly’, rough playing ‘teasingly’ but at some point poi thought the rough play was abuse…. But now she is saying it’s rough play too on her statement. I’ve seen that the Thai side thinks Poi was silenced but I will leave it there.
Poi admitted that she used a picture from online for the miscarriage story in her statement. Tbh she had already said she used a picture online to add vision to her miscarriage story. In her statement now she didn’t say she lied abt the miscarriage story… nor did Build refute it.

Just finished the extra episode with the commentary and I like the dynamics of the group. Ricky seems more outgoing and funnier than I ever saw in the show. Gunwook seems very social with the group and it's nice not to panic when he speaks thinking that he will be evil edited by mnet. I like the Gyuvin/ Gunwook dynamics.
Gyuvin seems chaotic, funny and clumsy and I love that. I hope he never changes.
I've heard rumours that Shanbin is the leader of the group.
Yujin seems like he is chaotic but in a shy kinda way. Like he will be throwing funny shade but in a quiet voice.
I am interested to see more of Jiwoong, Taerae, Hao & Matthew in the group n wat their really like.
This commentary episode was funny, i'm excited for their variety shows and their new music.
GUNWOOK, You did it!!!!! I am so happy he made it.
I went into this show as a casual watcher not expecting to be voting or stressing over this show.
I have watched Wild idol with Gunwook and is such a good rapper.
But seeing him again he was more confident, he is an all rounder. He can sing, he can dance, he can rap. I really liked that he said what was on his mind. (Like im a kpop stan and a lot of idols are very restricted with what they say) So it was refreshing seeing someone who just said what was on his mind.(tho not everyone liked it, I loved it) I fell into a Gunwook rabbit hole and I was following his stan accounds on twt, I was watching all his videos. It was fun until I would watch an elimination episode and he was # 10 even tho I had started voting. So now I had strategically vote.
It was crazy, stressful, I was too invested and he was on the border but we pushed on and I was sooo happy seeing him debut. He looked so happy and shocked.
I would have loved to see Gunwook and Juhyeon debut together, I loved seeing their friendship, it seemed so genuine. I hope they stay friends after this.
With the lineup for ZB1, (what a name...) because Gunwook made it, I'm happy with it but seriously its a good lineup. I like the group, their a mix of people who bring different things to the group. If they release good music they will be unstoppable.
I think for those that didn't make it, just being on this show opens so many doors. We are going to have soo many groups debuting with boys planet members and the good news is I can stan all of them if I want to. There is no limit.
But overall, the show had me hooked, it had me stressing, it was fun, they were highs and it had me voting and I never do that so with all the evil editing and what not I guess MNET did do something right. I was invested in this show.
But I am soooo glad it's over and I am sooo happy Gunwook made it.
I decided to listen to this again after years. It’s a produce 101 season 1 performance and it’s interesting how back then Mnet showed performances almost in full, no repetitive replays of certain parts, no judges reaction, no going to the other contestants reactions so often.
No if there’s a high note they will show the judges reaction/ other contestants reactions, replay the part n show another reaction of the crowd (usually a screaming fan and I’m seeing the back of their throats).
I preferred it back then, now if you want to see the full performance you have watch another version of the performance on YouTube.
There shud be atleast one or two vocals and a rapper in the group.
But tbh none of that matters if the company sucks. Look at fantasy boys.
But there is so much talent on this show, it will be interesting to see what the debut group will look like.

It was a cute drama without any drama. The acting was below average, the writing, dialogue was hmm. The so-so translations didn't help.
Can’t wait until it’s over next week.
