I think it's important to remember that this is a dating show about older women and younger men, there is going to be an age gap. How boring wud it be if they all had an age gap of 2 -4 years. Wud that even warrant a show.
I honestly felt sad for the women at some point, it felt like a celebration for being young, even by one year. I hope they love their age, no matter what. As a society, there is so much ageism.
Even though Bon hee and Mujin are 12 years apart, if they like each other, I still think they should try.
I'm not buying the preview at all, I think Mujin is still set on Bon hee. I think 27 or 30. If he already has a job and is ready to settle down. I don't see anything wrong with it. Like the presenters said Mujin will have to be the glue for them because Bon hee is going to try and run.
Apart from people opinions, i don't think if it was 7 yrs or 12 years age gap, if they like each other it wud make much of a difference tbh.
I hope they give it a try, if it doesn't work out later on atleast they wud have put their feelings first. I think if Bon hee let's Mujin go cos of this age gap, I see her having regrets later on.
To me I don't think 27 is bad, if he was 25 or 23 then I would say it's a dead end.
Okay I need someone to discuss this with, so the comments section will have to do haha. Everyone is talking about…
People are saying their still using the korean ages so Bon hee is probably 38, instead of 39. Also, she said she wants to get married soon, or looking for a husband, i will jump and say maybe she wants a child too. Mujin also said he wants to start a family soon too. A year to date is plently of time tbh.
Also, plenty of women now have children in their 40's, its harder deffo but 40 is not the cut off date, some have children at 41, 42 and so on depending.
you're very much on point with your descriptions. honestly, i watched this show only for mujin and bonhee and…
no I loveeed reading it, our thoughts are deffo similar, I really hope Bon hee and Mujin work out in the end, they clearly like each other, hopefully they put that first.
I've been rooting for Sangwon and Jiwon since the beginning. Even tho after the first date Jiwon has explored with other guys, which she shud, it was always fascinating to me that Sangwon always said he wanted to know her more, was interested in talking to her. Especially wen they revealed their jobs.
Their date was more flirty and fun.
Ye Eun, I think she ruined it with Sangwon at their first date when he said he was still opened to talking to other girls n her mood just changed to like really negative and down for goodness knows how long and then she found out he was a doctor and suddenly she likes him again.
I think Sangwon probably sees through her, like he works with people all day, no one wants to go home and having to guess if ur wife/ gf is going to be in a mood or not.
Ye Eun did say she's not as bubbly as we are seeing and shes more down than up.
Also, I think she probably thought if they had this deep deep convo it would bond them and he would pick her. But I think it did the opposite.
I think Ye Eun probably senses it, I think if they were not in the house, she would leave Sangwon.
I'm actually rooting for Jiwon and Sangwon, I actually think they like each other and it would be nice to see them together.
Also, someone below mentioned Ye Eun giving mean girl vibes and I see it.
Bon hee, I think has shown she is very much interested in Mu jin at every opportunity but I think she is scared about the age gap; that's what holding her back currently. She is holding her cards close to her chest.
I think they will have a massive age gap and I think she will have more of an issue abt it than Mujin.
The thing is she is there to find a husband basically and from the sounds of it, I think Mujin wants to get married too. He might be young, if he got a stable career to get married young then its something his been thinking seriously about.
I think Boo hee and Mujin's dynamics work because I feel like Boo hee's life she makes all the decisions, with her work/ studio but with their relationship we see Mu jin leading more, making decisions and I think she will experience so much life with him and I think she really likes him, she's just trying to hide it.
Sang hyeon, I don't want to say this but I think all the women are too good for him. I'm trying to be nice but theres just something that is making me get red flags with him.
he was struggling to breath because of sinus/allergy issues. it wasn't a choice for aesthetics. don't diss on…
He was struggling to breathe so he got a botched nosejob that pinched his nose. lol, why do all the celebrity's use the same excuse wen they get a nose job. I wud respect them more if they were honest.
A shame, he was beautiful before, cant believe he ruined his face like that.
Am thinking of starting this show, i really liked only boo. How is this show so far? Should i give it a try?
I've watched episode 1 and I like it so far. It's an easy watch and is entertaining for me so far. I always say, give a show a go. U never know, u might like it. I don't really trust bad takes or ratings on this site, some people are just bitter for no reason.
I knew she wasn't going to be the chairwoman, it's too early and shes still very much naive. I hate the FL aunt. My goodness. I hope the karma hits her back twice as hard.
do they know Xin Che is gay? Is time for Korea to accept an Idol who has wide past as a gay person, with boyfriends???
Oh i didn't know this, interesting. If I didn't see ur comment i wud have no idea, Went on tiktok and saw his videos. If im being honest i would be surprised if he made it into the group, they are too many talented people on this show, it's going to be hard.
But if he does I think he will be fine. Korea has so many bl fans, the fans ship guys together, the company encourage it, are aware of it.
His issue is not that he is gay, i imagine they are a few gay idols that we don't know about but it's that we the public know he is gay. The issue is if he does kinship with a member, fans will run to thinking there's more because they know he is gay or if they go on a variety show and the hosts mention it.
I don't think he will be able to have boyfriend's in the public though, he will have to pretend to be single like all the other kpop idols.
I have watched the previous Road to Kingdom editions and I must say, watching the first two episodes of Ace of…
They are quite a few members who were on iland together, produce 101 together, there trainee's at hybe/ bighit and so on together, their probably closer than shown on the show. Ateez/ Mayfly and so on have established fanbases, they were groups that if they did well or not they would be fine.
Alot of the groups on here are still new/ mostly unknown and could possible disband in a year or two. This is like a lifeline to some groups.
Needless to say, i see them cheering for each other alot, but also it's refreshing that they are giving honest opinions when something isn't perfect. But it's kpop so fans will yeah you know...
Hopefully, they will do a sports day and you will see how close the groups are.
I've finally finished this and I'm just angry and annoyed.
This show branded itself as giving groups a second chance, with whatever had happened but the way they handled Karam and group 23:00 was so disappointing. I just remember the judges after team 23:00 second performance going why are u not a huge star, he was a diamond in the rough. Someone who had slipped the net and had been missed in this over-saturated kpop world and peak time had found him again and put him in the spot light and then some random person posts pictures of him at a party with loads of people and a pornstar is there and with no evidence of anything, story's are made up and he is off the show.
He did mention in that horrible apology they were clearly forced to give that there was no validity in those claims and yet they were forced off the show. My thing is he is a 30 year old grown man who hasn't been in the limelight for years. What if he dated?? I would imagine half of the people on that show have dated.
I just think they should have supported him, they should have fact checked and if he had worst case dated the woman who was pornstar years ago, is that a crime???? They should have said that's his private life and we respect that. Let people vote and if people had an issue with it then they cannot vote for him and his group doesn't win and it's over but the way they kicked the group out. The way they forced them to apologise like that.
Karam, I had seen his bl with Leo from Vixx and he was slowly coming back but I didn't even know he was an idol before until this show. He has an amazing voice, his visuals, he can dance and has that stage presence not many have. One thing I really loved about him was his positive spirit and mindset. He seemed like such a positive person and at each stage they cherished the little things this show gave them again and to see that crushed and to see his face when they were apologising. He looked defeated and they don't deserve him.
He cud have slowly build some career now without this show and they ruined it.
And then I think about the high suicide rates in Korea and with idols too, I would think at some point someone wud say their humans, they shud be allowed to party, to date.
Also, if this was produce/ boys planet I would somewhat understand because those contestants couldn't do anything or else they didn't make the team but Karam is on peak time, a show that was supposedly giving second chances to idols.

He was beautiful before, he just ruined his face...
Curious who the other woman Sangwon likes is
There shud be atleast one or two vocals and a rapper in the group.
But tbh none of that matters if the company sucks. Look at fantasy boys.
But there is so much talent on this show, it will be interesting to see what the debut group will look like.
But if he does I think he will be fine. Korea has so many bl fans, the fans ship guys together, the company encourage it, are aware of it.

They failed him, it was hard to finish this show.
I am happy that his teammates stood by him,
If they have a comeback I will support them.
