I do have to say that they leads had the best chemistry i have seen in a while. I swear I felt butterflies when they had their little moments. A good drama, probably wud have been better if the female lead was able to make her decision quicker. But regardless, i cudnt stop watching n i enjoyed this a lot.
I watched this drama about 3 months ago and I really love it. Trying to find similar drama but still can't get…
I have watched a few Chinese drama's but nothing has topped Ten miles of peach blossoms for me but other drama's like this are: 'The eternal love' [similar name to this but not the same drama] (i really liked this, it's more cute and funny & loved the chemistry between the two.) 'Go Princess Go' (very underrated but it had me laughing so hard and I enjoyed it a lot. It's a bit weird but very entertaining.) 'Untouchable lovers' (airing now, but it had a strong start, I would give it a try) 'Nirvana in fire' (even tho i tried it multiple times, i didn't like it that much, it's very popular, so maybe you might like it. ) And 'The Princess Wei Young'
I was bored so I decided to give this a try, the first two episodes I thought I was going to go to sleep lol but I carried on anyways and I’m so glad I did. I was hooked after that and I cudnt stop watching it. I loved everything about this, even the evil characters (that king was the best, he reminded me of Joffrey from game of thrones, lol but then 16 happened and it didn’t bother me too much. Except for the side stories with the female general, in the end I ended up skipping it. It really had no connection to the main story and it all started to feel like a regular old palace story where the main girl n the evil other woman scheming against each other. Even the whole drugging the female lead n the bodyguard was identical to another drama.
I can’t be 100% sure since I haven’t read the book myself but from the comments here it seems the book ended at part 1 (ep16) n this part is the writers doing n it shows, it’s dragging, Rong isn’t as smart. The other evil prince, everything he does always fails. It is half as entertaining as the first part.
My only hope was that maybe the romance wud be better in the second half, since the first it was there but not really since Rong zhi was using her and the way they confessed it felt it a bit rushed n then they lost their memory. I’m caught up now on epi 28. I will probably watch more when their 10 more episodes subbed or when it’s finished. Maybe reading the book wud give me a better ending. If they had ended it at episode 16. I wud have been satisfied.
Seemed promising until I saw this trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gy1Y-_1M9pE
i just watched the trailer n l liked it. The female lead is absolutely amazing. Loved her in ode to joy. It looks like the romance might be interesting to watch. Very fantasy like, there's 50 episodes so i'm guessing a lot will happen and change but i cant wait for this one.
So what happened with the secret Hye Ran's mother told her before she died and I swear there was a person listening to them???? This writer forgot so much, i can't.
Also, the worst Police detective goes tooooo. That guy was so useless, it was laughable.
I guess I am the only one who so unconvinced with story taking this turn in last few episodes... So many loose…
Dramalandlove, THANK YOUUUUUU. You are an intellectual. There were soooo many plot holes with the murder part. The fact that the writer suddenly forgot about the whole political aspect of it all. And I agree when the main female lead started she was so strong and driven and I loved her because of that but then in the end she was so weak. And I get they were trying to make her more compassionate and all that but in the mist of it all it didn't even seem like the same person. She wasn't fighting for anything but just going along, being pushed to whatever direction.
I have complaints. The first two or three episodes, I'm thinking, wow, a show for grown ups, and then, while the…
Lol I agree with the lip stick thing, they put it outside her lips to make them look bigger. Apparently that’s the style now a days in Korea thanks to kylie Jenner.
What a bad ending, they were so many plot holes, my goodness. They shud have just said it was an accident, that wud have been better than this or have Tae wook just go to jail and do his crime. That whole mess with the other guy confessing was so lame.
And him speeding into the tunnel with his eyes closed, basically showing his going to commit suicide was such a cop out, what a cowardly thing to do especially with the high suicide rate in Korea. I’m glad at least some people are optimistic of sorts in thinking maybe he didn’t kill himself. It was just a way for the writers to be cowards even at the very end.
Disappointed but not surprised. I’m getting used to kdrama s that have a great start but a bad ending.
I enjoyed this drama a lot, i could relate a lot to it, I knew watching it that it wasn't going to be a rom-com, i guess those who wanted that will be disappointed but it reminded me of incomplete life and sometimes it's nice to see something that is realistic and that you can relate to in terms of work.
Co-sign a million times, I honestly thought I had seen the thumbnail on viki wrong and he was going to kiss Soo ji when they were standing in the middle of the road.
I am so annoyed with how fast Taehee fell for Shihyun!!!They introduce her as someone who isn't so naive as to…
thank you, there were sooo many things against them being together last episode and now it's like it doesn't matter. The writing in this isn't that good, I have to say. Their trying to fit in what happened in the book, whilst adding new things and then forgetting what they did in previous episodes.
I probably shouldn't have watched cruel intentions now watching this seems so bland. I'm sorry but the main couple scenes were quite dull and very cliche. Every single scene they did it had been done before multiple times but sometimes you can ignore overused cliche scenes when the chemistry between the leads is good or the acting is amazing. I do give it to Do hwan he is killing his role and I do feel a lot more chemistry with him and So ji even when they just look at each other.
people really be shipping shi hyun and soo ji when their relationship is literally toxic
all relationships in this are toxic, even the main one, his only chasing her cos he was asked to but people still ship it. So i see no problem with people shipping shi hyun and soo ji

I'm sorry, I can't hate Soo ji, my a** will still root for her even when she turns evil and I know it will be coming soon.
