need season 2 so bad this was my fave drama of 2018 😭

just finished last episode and realized this story is really not for everyone, since this is not your classic romance xianxia.... i love it tho, this is definitely up my alley since i enjoyed it thoroughly.

those slow paced episodes are full of foreshadowing for the future episodes, pls be patient, i even rewatching few episodes back cuz i didn't pay much attention to those episodes

no it's more about my frustrations with the last part, gods always potrayed as beings that can't or won't bother to understand human emotions (eg compassion, love, sympathy etc) but they supposedly ruling over human?? it's so frustrating everytime

well lot of ppl have been critizing the styling and i agree it looks cheap (if we compared to other REAL high budgeted drama like tteotm it's clearly fall behind)
ig the blame fall on the costume designer/planner as they can't utilized the said big budget lol

bjs with his zero compassion is pissing me off so bad... why all gods/divine deity in dramas always act this way toward human being-_-

from the costumes quality i assuming it's low budget drama, and i said it to a friend before that this drama choppy editing and rushed plot in the first few episodes, feeling like im watching short drama (low quality but engaging, so can't stop watching) so yeah, you're right 😭😭

i said ep 14 was my favorite episode yesterday, but little did i know ep 15-16 would exceed my expectations and up-it by miles! the writing for this drama is CRAZY!! too bad many ppl are already turned off by the pilot episodes (choppy editing, weird dubbing, etc) which i can't blame them for.... well it's reasonable 😭

and episode 12 is my favorite so far!!! i think i will love their human arc the most from the previews/spoilers, the premise seems the most interesting to me.

i think the reason human hua ruyue gets burned alive is cuz she gets accused of being a witch?? cuz she saved so many ppl with her magic???? idk y'know how they burned a witch in ancient times......

guys i have theory....

the rating is back to 8.6!! finally!!
