omg wait a minute! if the manga is still ongoing... then how come hatano and mc end up together in the series? in case the ending in the manga is the same I guess it's the first time I've seen the life action of a manga end sooner than the manga itself
i generally don't leave comments... ever, but this is the only airing bl series i find myself waiting for each week.
i was already familiar with actors kodai & hideyoshi (from their previous works, "smells like green spirit" & "although i love you, and you?" respectively) so of course i had to tune in to this series. i think it most be said that i haven't read the novel (i'm planning to though) but i find it relieving to read comments from people who have saying that it's fair to the source.
i might be biased but i really like hioki's character, i think most of his reactions are very... real, even his inner monologue is relatable, he really is just a normal guy, but he can also be quite cute from time to time, although i think this has more to do with kodai's facial expressions, like when he purses his lips and widens his eyes, i really like how awkward he can be aswell, and something i will always recall is the scream at the fair's haunted hospital, i never expected him to scream like that but it was peak (silly) comedy, it really got a laugh out of me.
now about watarai... i think we as the audience need more time to dive into his character and understand him more, everything we've seen so far has been through hioki's point of view, and even hioki himself doesn't really get what goes on watarai's mind so only the people who have read the novel know the whole story here. still i really like watarai as a character and think he's very caring and considerate, i guess you could say he's a green flag..? i really hope he is, so far he has been really proactive and i have high hopes for his character, and the future of the series.
