For your first question, originally the director wanted Jo Insung to play both the roles of the past and present, but at that time Jo Insung was bad at acting so they casted Cho Seungwoo to play the father's role. (I saw reviews complaining that the movie focused too much on the past but that's also because they had to edit Jo Insung out as his acting was awkward back then.) But they still kept Jo Insung for the present role and kept his name on the poster as if he had the main role because at that time Jo Insung was gaining attention for his looks and hence people would watch the movie for him.
