why so harsh on rookie actors/actress? they still have plenty of time to improve & keep in mind in the latest few episodes they are live shooting in the freezing cold weather trying to catch the broadcast deadline that's why the editing is not as polished as before & you may feel some awkwardly edited scene every now and then

The actors/actress seem to be struggling in the cold weather
In the rooftop scene, Yohan's eyes, nose and lips all looked frozen... 😥 The scene where Hosung was washing his face in the playground I was worried he will get sick afterwards
hope they finish filming safely in this freezing weather

now that I think about it.... the 2 writers are at fault for ruining most of their characters

at first I thought its going to be a slice of life while tackling a different problem every week (suicide, cheating....) but no they are not creative enough & just pass the time with irrelevant characters with boring story telling so there is no engagement while watching

kijoon non existent narrative they could've explored his taekwondo background then him trying to explore the different departments in the vocational school until he lands in carpentry or show his struggle with his family situation & learning experience with his grandfather or his bromance with hosung & youngjoo while tackling the school corruption but they just let him be a literal cameo in his own drama

jiwon also lost her story after the first 3 episodes & became just another cutesy fl why didn't they focus on her relationship with her mother & how society looks down on the vocational students or even show her go for inter-scholar competition or apprenticeship or her trying to find her dream job company before graduation

seoyoung also a sad character chouldn't they even focus on her struggle... she is also reduced to a depressed sfl
not gonna talk about angry boy I wish they showed more of the bromance between him, kijoon & hosung but all we get his tantrum

couldn't even highlight the growing relationship between the students & their teachers
weak writing for most of the characters

are we watching the same drama?
seoyoung was the school campus crush since the first episode? even kijoon had a crush on her & give up on her once she started fake dating sml
& what s wrong with jiwon? she is also independent motivated opinionated & as lovable as seoyoung? the only difference is that she is more smiley bubbly &friendly? she doesn't lack anything
why is it weird for sml to have a crush on her?

& please I need more hosung & kjoon moments
l like this duo the most out of all the characters

I'm totally enjoying the drama but the writing & screen time seem imbalanced to me
l'm holding my judgment till the drama end but for now till ep7 the writer has been biased toward the 2nd leads
I'm noticing a pattern where 1st & 3rdweek were more focused on 1st leads when I had the most fun watching & then 2nd & now 4th week focused on 2nd leads
1st leads have nothing but their romance which I adore the most & carry the comedy aspect
2nd leads have a much heavy narrative & storylines
so l hope they start giving kijoon & jiwon their own storyline & narrative we reached half of the drama already

actually l'm here for the main couple they are so cute together but I also like all the characters including hosung, eunbi, the teachers, the twins & the second leads so l'm having fun & yes I think they should give the main leads more screen time & storyline

me too at first I didn't expect it to be slice of life type of drama but episode 6 was so much fun & now I'm sold also the cinematography is so captivating

am I the only one here thought youngwoo would've either asked jiwon for the meal she promised or to make another carpentry club together?
why everyone so concerned about the love triangle?
jiwon is a lovable girl why is it weird to have a crush on her?
he will finally move on from her in few episodes like how kijoon moved on from seoyoung
& the second leads most probably will end together

its fun & the captivating cinematography & color pallet is a plus
it took me 6 episode to get attached to the drama universe & all the characters
their simple stories are so charming to me including the teacher. it's like a slice of life once you get acquainted with setup you start to enjoy all the cast dynamics & interactions & I'm happy that kijoon's grandfather & youngjoon's brother had more screen time lately

there is freshness, love, comedy, struggles, unfairness, sadness, hope, friendships & more in as much realistic setup as possible

l'm also happy they brought the plant pot incident back since it was bothering me alot how carelessly they solved the problem
looking forward to the next episode

you see my problem here is with the writer they make everything revolve around the second leads, don't resolve problems they created with any care & there is no long story telling through the episodes its like case of day kind of episodes
sml has sweet moments with fl, resolve of the suicide case out of nowhere, conflict with headmaster, conflict with his childhood friend, a deal with sfl & plenty of his family moments while ml has only a small supporting role & the ending credit of the episode
sfl also the same with being the school beauty crush, sweet moments with sml, resolve of vandalism case unsatisfactory out of nowhere, conflict with her childhood friend, a deal with sml, conflict with the twins & headmaster & her motivation for attending the school, conflict with the teacher & establishing the club for competition while fl also takes a larger supporting role than ml but its still only a supporting role with the ending credit of the episode

also I really don't appreciate the writer making sml aggressive whatever the reason they could've let him shout, kick a desk or a chair or leave the classroom with anger like in school2013 but without touching any of his classmates even if he hates them its too much again for a school drama & I only blame the writer with everything they should have been careful for sending a bad message especially being a school drama its not right to manhandle your classmate, not right to let the innocent take the blame for other's wrongdoings, not right to make a deal to cover the corruption & all of it is the writer fault & lack of critical thinking they could've done everything in a very acceptable approach but they're treating everything so lightly without any impact just for the characters to appear cool or whatever
I repeat I see the logic behind the action of the characters but its still not acceptable Its simply a lazy writing without careful consideration promoting bad criminal behaviors
I'll continue to watch out of loyalty to my favorite actors but not for the story for sure

& I don't even care how much screen time he has in this drama the problem here he has no storyline & they using him only as a background supporting character
in a normal drama structure the leading cast have their storyline & narrative which runs throughout the whole episodes while the supporting cast and their stories appear in between but here the leading character have nothing

but it is a school drama! morally you don't let others take the blame of your wrongdoings the writer should've approach the problems they created more seriously they could've even let one of the teacher intervene to prevent the expulsion & end the problem with a confession & some community work but they treat everything like the suicide & vandalism so lightly leaving the drama without any impact or strong message

no he was offered the main role since February 2020 & he was patient & loyal to the production team who had multiple problems & setbacks until the last minutes & its so distasteful of them to be using him only to promote the drama with his real life background & to give him only a small supporting role with no storyline after all this waiting & effort

I wonder why did yohan waste his time & waited 2 years for this drama he is treated worst than a supporting character with no narrative & no storyline & by looking at the script for the next episode I see nothing will change they are just using him & yihyeon at the opening & ending of the episodes with no story or moment or anything in between while the story just focus about sml & sfl they both already have a background story their family story their motive being in this school their small moments while the two leads have nothing but one with cheerful motivated personality and the other is just a sad character which is relegated to the background of the class
like why did minseo chose to give her will to him then when he tried his best to find the sender & chased jiwon searching for her all day not for her to even spare him a glance or thank him & all the credit goes to sml?! is this even logical
really they sold the drama with him as a ml who lost his dream & is struggling to find his new path but turn out he is just a supporting role & an emotional bunch bag for the unreasonable hostile sml &of course the fairytale end shot of each episode so yohan let's take this as an experience and let's pick a better script next time with a better writer
and I don't really think its suitable for a school drama to resolve the plant pot vandalism with sml not owing to his wrongdoing & just resolve the problem with blackmailing a classmate, deceive & manipulation & and I also don't appreciate sml manhandling others like punching kijoon out of nowhere and grabbing the other student by his bag is so intolerable please grow up & stop approaching your classmates with hostility
I wish for better story for my adorable trio yohan kangmin yihyeon but my expectation is so low for this script writer who is doing everything but without giving the lead characters any narrative
