Almost a month over and hasn't anyone figured it out what was Enaga's catwalk scene ij ep 7/8 song? LOL the mostly accurate song that I got was It Takes Two by Jutes BUT I swear to god its not the same
I already expected the last episode to leave several loose ends because throughout the episodes themselves, several things were left aside or got lost as the minutes of the episodes progressed... In addition, the final part, which should have had fewer explanations and more events, was the opposite. The last episode had more than half its screen time with Chiaki explaining what he was feeling than with the events to make the ending of the couple "justified" and also the scene of Enaga's confession happened VERY quickly without practically any room for him to open up and explain all the reasons he had to act the way he did... Like, who expects a famous model who even had a contract for not being recognized, to suddenly go there and tell everything just because he liked Chiaki; it doesn't make sense and it was pretty much a selfish take on Chiaki's mind... Overall, I think these loose ends were to be expected for a BL that only has 8 chapters with 35 minutes. I hope they also make the two specials just like in the manga because Enaga's relationship with Chaki is actually ccute and I got to enjoy everything in the manga.
Now, what I really liked... I loved the music and also wholeheartedly loved the punk thematization, I think Japan managed to explore the theme as "fashion" without things being too superficial or too exaggerated; it ends up being just right and perfect for making more people interested in and liking the presented visual style. The final outfit was divine, I even want to have one made for myself. HAHAH I also really liked the characterization of Enaga (student), AE (model), and the AE Enaga at the end because you can even notice the difference in their tone of voice and the way they speak also their body language.
For me, it's quite justifiable that Chiaki didn't recognize AE all this time. Like fr this boy literally explains explicitly in the first/second chapter that till the group project to produce the outfit he saw the rest of the students as "enemies". What's the logic in paying attention to other people if he literally said that he just doesn't care about the people around him? There isn't any. There's no justification for him recognizing Enaga because he never really paid attention to Enaga before.
And before people say that "He recognized AE because of the way he walked..." Yes it's what it is, but before that, he recognized Enaga's expression in AE, and it was "BECAUSE OF THAT" that his mind could instantly process that Enaga was actually AE. It's kind of implied, but you can interpret this way as his mind was already realizing the truth even before the catwalk scene.
Even that hairdressing girl seemed to recognise him without the hat!
I mean if you touch a wig you'll instantly recognize that's a wig, plus if you look closer the underparts of the wigs doest not cover your real hair collor at all if they are painted
