‎I think am one of the few here who Calle crazy but I honestly don't think the FL is behaving irrational but rather being realistic. The ML is basically a stranger to her who she just met recently and is staying with who sees her at her most vulnerable state which is getting drunk and crying but is also someone who brings her comfort but at the same time has a time limit to his stay in her life while the SML is someone who has only seen her best qualities and seen her at her happiest so I think it's okay for her to question her feelings for both because with the ML she might doubt whether her feelings are that of love or just the comfort of support and necessity while the SML is her escape from reality.

Watching Shen Wen lang and Gao Tu reminds me of Wei Ju and Elder Tu from Love of the Divine Tree. Both SWL and WJ keep on saying the wrong things to the person that they love and don't realize until both Gao Tu and Elder Tu run away with their children after a one night stand

The best part of the series has been the relationship between the main leads. They are both strong and independent but respect and protect each other when the other needs help. Kudos to the writers for making a green forest ML in a historical drama who actually respects the FL boundaries and doesn't try to force his affection on her but rather allows their relationship move at a pace she is comfortable with. I ♥️♥️♥️ their interactions in ep 31 and the wedding before the interruption was also nice.

FX and Wan'er give the hyper bf/calm gf vibes and I am loving it!!! Not everybody is meant to be reckless and loud and calculating. In my opinion, Wan'er is one of the strong characters in JOL as she is often seen as quiet and weak which allows her to see and hear things other people can not and also she calmly makes her decisions after thinking it through. There is a saying where am from that a quiet person is more dangerous than a noisemaker

I think Wan'er refusing to see FX and FX abiding by her wishes was the best decision taken by both of them given the situation. In her case, your loved one left for 3 years and was declared dead but he is still alive and in a fight to remain alive with your family members being the ones who actively want him dead!! She has decided to support FX and not meeting him is the best decision because seeing him might weaken her resolve and she might end up pleading for her family not to talk of everybody expecting him to visit him which her a weakness to him. I am sure a number of guards were posted around her house waiting as an ambush for him if he came visiting because she is an obvious weakness to him. And FX abiding by her decision shows how much he understands her.

The last six episodes.😭😭😭😭😭😭. I rewatched it and in ep 40 after the ten year gap the teacher that was teaching students looked a lot like NYZ which means they survived

Today's highlight :
NYZ : *throws tea to the emperor's face* Since the emperor is crazy I have to wake you up 👏👏👏👏. Finally someone not afraid to call an emperor out on his bullshit

I like listening to NYZ repeat that he loves and respects RY I think she deserves to hear that after being treated as a weapon all her life I mean even her dad sold her so scars like that don't heal easily but with NYZ constantly reassuring her she is bound to believe it. And I don't think she depends on NYZ for everything. She just depends on him emotionally. I might be the only one with this opinion but I don't think NYZ is such a good guy. I mean he is the greenest flag in a relationship but let's not forget that he is someone capable of killing you while having a Convo with you *cough Zhao ji cough*! He is the Chief for a reason and I think that he is even more deadly than RY being that while RY is an killer NYZ is someone who sees the political side of things and uses them even his enemies to his advantage which means he doesn't necessarily need to kill himself but use others to do so case in point using LTG to cause chaos in the An's court

I think it is the emperor of An son. It was mentioned that the third prince is an infant

Saw a preview of NYZ dunking LTG head in water repeatedly. Maybe that will wake him up

I rewatched the episode twice just to hear NYZ say Madam and RRY smile about it

I really like the way they handle their relationship maturely and I am glad they addressed the issue of their dreams instead of RY just agreeing to NYZ idea it shows how far she has come as a person from accepting orders and decisions being made for her to questioning and making them instead. So proud of RY for that and so glad NYZ helped her reach that stage

My favorite scenes:
1: Yuan lu saying that NYZ and RRY fought like his parents and the dad was usually at fault 😂😂😂
2: The squad eveasdropping on RRY and LT convo at the same time throwing shades at RRY
3: The kids YL and YY listening to their uncle YSS and planning their parents reconciliation LOL

Is it me or is LYST a xianxia with a lot of touching scenes? I have lost count on the number of hea patting, forehead touching and kisses, side hugs and full on body hugs. Who knew head patting could be so romantic! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

I wish someone will make a video edit of all the forehead touching and kissing. Kudos to CK and XY for making them seem more intimate than kissing
