Misplaced action and insensitive tackling of delicate issues
As someone who read the webtoon serialisation, I tried watching the first episode of this with my mum and was immediately taken back by how insensitively they tackled some of the *very* serious and delicate themes. Despite liking the casting choices, I felt like a lot of the quiet and gutwrenching moments I read were swapped out for shoehorned in action that came across as immensely out of place to me, particularly in a series that deals with issues like suicide, mental health and sexual assault. I couldn't bear to watch another episode.
