yeah, it seems like Tencent has these 8-12 official YouTube channels for different regions/countries like Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Spanish, Portuguese, Taiwan, and so on including the main international channel. Surprisingly, though not surprisingly, on all channels, the same poll with same caption in diff language was created, and YaoLiu won on all of them with over 60-75% of the votes in each poll.
Ow... seems like Tencent is messing with Yaoliu fans. I don't remember Xiang Liu holding an archery session with XY like in the picture, except for the moment when he was still Fang Feng Bei. or did i forget? LOL
You're awkwardly biased, I'm watching because of all the four characters that brought the story alive. If you…
Don’t worry I’m not denying the fact that every character in the series is important as they carry their own value. Also, I never said I want an exact copy of novel into a drama, not sure where did you get this idea from. As everyone has their own reason for enjoying the show, so I have mine. You don't think posting one's opinion is crime here, right?
I'm very disappointed with this leaked script, it not only changed the things that xl does and also cang xuan…
This is indeed quite fishy. I really hope they stick to the original work like they did in Season 1 (even if it wasn’t 100% true to its source material, it was good). If the leaked script is really gonna be the storyline in Season 2, then it's a big NO for me (I'll forever cherish the novel).
Since Season 2 was already filmed at the same time as Season 1, there's a chance the leaked script might be a fake one, or it might have been created just to generate buzz before the drama's release (a common promotional tactic). Though its just a guess.
Judging from the preview, there are indeed some changes, but the extent of those changes remains to be seen. Also, toning down CX's madness, tenacity, and craziness means not only loosing that character's depth & complexity which we had in novel but also loosing intense impact on the overall plot. therefore, I'll patiently wait until at least half the show airs before deciding whether to watch it or not. If CX's storyline undergoes significant alterations, it's impossible for XL's storyline to remain unaffected. So, If the adaptation strays too far from the novel especially regarding XL part, I'll likely pass.
As I said before, if XL's role is significantly reduced or altered from the source material, I've decided I won't be watching Season 2. I know LYF isn't just about XL, but he's the main reason I'm invested in the show.
so guys, I'll be relying on your reviews here until the show finishes or at least reaches the halfway point. If it's good, I'll jump in, otherwise I'll skip it. Of course, I'm not discouraging anyone from watching the show – this is just my personal take.
WAIT, WHAT? this dumbass Pei WenXuan not only told that the marriage is nothing more than just a deal to Su Rongqing but also ask his wife to call him brother on the wedding night? Seriously? man, you're gonna regret.
I see mostly XL on other platforms too ... but that's because I only search for #Xiang Liu. ;p
haha...right in some of the platforms like tiktok, IG, including Fb walls, but not on the whole group of facebook dedicated to LYF, including countless discussions on Reddit, and here on MDL too.
not sure about domestic fans, but i feel like this is how the international fans are divided in Lost You Forever
Xiao Yao - 20% Cang Xuan - 5% Tushan Jing - 25% Xiang Liu - 50%
Everywehere i go facebook, insta, twitter, tiktok, all I can see is XL. Even if there was 1 year gap, XL discussion was like never ending.
Edit: These percentages are not based on real data or domestic data; this is just my personal estimation after observing a large number of internaltional fans' interactions on various social platforms, including here on MDL. Of course, you might have different opinion about this.
Doesn't China disallow reincarnation, rebirth, transmigration, or time travel plotlines, even though there haven't been specific announcements about a ban, especially in costume period dramas? I'm a bit confused here. Also, does it mean, the ending of the drama will be more like a shared dream? All the things happening rn is nothing but just a mere illusion.
someone's saying the script for season 2 has changed quite a bit, with a stronger focus on Jing this time. What do you think about this? I have no problem with making other characters look great. But as a big XL fan, I would be very disappointed with the production team if they cut or significantly altered many of XL's lines or scenes.
