I don't know why I put myself through this, but I just finished watching it for the second time after nearly four years. Just like the first time I watched it, my eyes are swollen like a pig's. I typically don't watch Korean costume dramas, but this one has earned its place as my all-time favorite.
From the very beginning to the end, I have always preferred the second male lead over the first main lead in this series. It was almost four years ago that I watched this; now rewatching it again, I'm even more convinced that Wu Bosong is a gem that not everyone can acquire, not even Chen Xiaoxi.

He keeps saying that he lost his friend suddenly, and no one else remembers this friend except him. Could he be experiencing some sort of delusion as the doctor suggested or went through the same kind of experiment as the FL did and got mixed up with his real world and the simulated world, especially if the world they are living in now is the real one?
Random speculation: Did this idea ever cross someone's mind that there's no such thing as time travel or another world in the story? Could it be all in the imagination or a brain connection through some tech? Like, say the female lead had an accident before and is now in a coma. The only thing ticking is her brain. To keep her going, the ML uses some highly advanced tech, letting her connect through her brain and he also dives into the system.
This is just my speculation based on the timing and duration concepts that were shown, like a game, at the beginning of the drama.
It's just episode 4, and people already dropped their reviews for the Entire drama? What is that? One is saying they already watched 5 episodes, but the platform has only updated up to 4 episodes for now where did you watch extra episodes? Are you guys producers of this drama or what? and the next Just started watching and already gave a 1 rating???

Lin Yi is doing well, and he is damn cool and handsome, especially with those glasses on. This is my first time watching Liu Haocun's work, and she's pretty good too. I loved her teary-eyed scenes the best.
But, gosh... why is the female character so annoying? What kind of situation does she think she's in? I get it, she's a daddy's princess and was born with a silver spoon in the real world, but can't she just analyze the situation and see what's going on around her? At least be nice to those who are sincerely helping you. What kind of attitude is that? Really... I'm pissed off with the female lead character.
I hope the story and character development will get better.

Could it be that the main villain of this show will turn out to be Bai Hui? I don't know but I'm highly suspicious of her. Plus she is in the main casting too.
Having already watched his performance in Love Like The Galaxy, simply, loving Liu Yun Rui's portrayal as a NINE TAILED FOX here too. Hope he gets to play in the ML with Zhao Lusi one day.
