It was a lot more then a simple cheating scandal. Him trash talking about several people in the business was pretty much a death nail to his career. He isn't pausing. His career is de facto over. I loved him as Xiaoge. He was a good version of Zhang Qiling but yeah...just another actor who ruined his career before it could really take off.

This show will very probably never be aired. Deng Lun lost every single project and sponsor and some of them even ask for compensation. I doubt that his career will rebound.

The way everything is worded I would say that the writer doesn't like BL and only reluctantly included The Untamed and tried to stay from anything else that may be BL.
