My understanding is that it is a type of discrimination/sexism against transgender/nonbinary people where people who identify as their assigned status at birth (like male or female) have privilege and feel like they have more legitimate identities than those who are transgender or nonbinary. This is probably not the best description. I'm sorry if I am not able to describe it well.
It's kind of like I'm watching a new drama every week but with the same actors and have been given no backstory or any good information to fully comprehend what is going on. Each week has been a new (albeit) confusing surprise. At this point, I'm just waiting for it to end because I hate dropping dramas.
I didn't care for the fact that the 'R' word was used several times, but that's just my personal opinion. Overall, I thought the drama was really good. There were some really funny and cute moments. When he threw that shoe and hit his brother in the head with it I thought, ah yes, this is what real siblings would do. LOL
The series is very good and I liked it a lot. I couldn't help but to laugh at the jumping scenes though. They very much reminded me of vampire movies like Twilight. LOL
It could have been 20 episodes or less and still accomplished the same thing. Wasn't the worse drama I've ever seen but wasn't the best either. If you need something that will play in the background that you only need to watch every once in a while and you're still able to follow along, this is the drama you're looking for.
