In a way they made Vee more like able though. He was kind of worse in the novel towards Mark.
i don't think so, in the novel the author showed us vee actually regretting what he did and struggling to be forgiven. in the series he waited a month, cried once, told mark he loves him and waited a week to ask him out. imo the series was too fast paced and didn't have enough scenes to forgive vee
