I honestly don’t understand how Junseo ended up with the lowest score — it’s an absolute joke. He’s been dealing with so much hate from K-netz, and yet he still stepped on stage in a terrible mental and physical state. The fact that he performed so powerfully under those conditions is unbelievable. There is no reason he should be ranked at the very bottom — it’s shocking.
K-netz are some of the most inhuman people I’ve ever seen. How blind do you have to be to fall for such obvious malicious editing? They’ve practically killed Junseo with the hate and pressure. He lost an alarming amount of weight in just two weeks. Yet even in that state, he still delivered. That deserves recognition, not this treatment.
Mnet also barely showed any of his parts. If he is not maliciously edited, then he is cut out.

I also have to add that the camera work for Main Dish was awful. They managed to ruin the most impactful sections.

The same people who criticize Junseo for his choice of words are now using far harsher ones to attack him — that’s pure hypocrisy. Maybe his wording wasn’t perfect, but his intention was clear: he was acting as a leader, with only the group’s success in mind. A true leader has to make tough calls and see the bigger picture — that’s vision. Guess what would have happened if Seventeen had put Jun and The8 at the front from the very beginning — it would have been fatal for their growth, because they weren't ready or fit. In a competition, you have to know who to put forward for the group to succeed. It’s win or over, and Junseo understood that. And maybe his words didn’t even impact the other trainees the way people claim — but the hate he’s receiving now is tearing him down, to the point his mental health is at real risk.

I watched the episode and I think what Kangmin did came across as passive-aggressive. He avoided open communication…
I had the same feeling. It was really unfair of Kangmin to say that in the interview.

Junseo didn't attend today's fan-organized cafe events while all other trainees did. Normally, he would never miss something unless it was serious. I think he isn’t doing well mentally right now.

All I know is that Junseo is so loved by everyone. Tatsuki and Inhu left a note, cheering for Junseo. They want him to debut. Mnet's evil editing can't erase that.

One of the live audience at Main Dish performance yesterday reported that someone cursed at Junseo - he pretended not to hear, but it was clear he was nervous. She said that she cried because it hurt, so how much more must Junseo have felt? Fans also said that Junseo has lost a lot of weight. I think many people don't realize what these hate comments, especially from Koreans, are doing to him. He already looks like he's broken into million pieces. Junseo is only chasing his dream like everyone else, but is scolded for his courage to step up and speak up. This is absolutely not fair.
His old schoolmates have already spoken up about the malicious editing, ex-trainees defended him as a leader in their live reactions. Even Seowon, who just got eliminated, said that the leader usually get more screentime - yet Junseo barely got any and that made him sad. The fact that Junseo is getting cut out of the storyline entirely, and the little screentime he did get was often used to put him in a bad light, is unfair and it has to stop.

For anyone who wants to support Junseo, please send him kind words. He deserves to see that he is valued and loved, espcially with all the unjust things happening to him. He should never doubt that there are people who truly care for him and believe in him.

It's a shame that so many talented trainees (Harry June, Boheng, Yoonmin and more) were eliminated. At the end,…
At today’s Main Dish recording, fans said Junseo lost a lot of weight. What’s even more heartbreaking is seeing how his fans feel so traumatized that they’re celebrating he didn’t get the leader or killing part, just hoping he won’t be edited badly because of it. It’s truly saddening. I also watched the teaser for next week and I think that after the hate comments he went into a passive position. He looked so broken. I really hope Junseo regains strength and finds comfort again.

Btw Seowon also said that normally the leader often gets more screentime, but Junseo didn't and that made Seowon sad.

At first, my only opinion about Junseo was that he was overrated with pretty average skills. But now another is…
Junseo has been the victim of evil editing since the last episode. That clearly influences your judgement. Junseo said that they should focus on what they are good at rather than what they want. He knows Sangwon's potential and he saw and heard Sangwon say that he has no confidence. Junseo as a leader has no choice but to be proactive and look for a strategy that maximizes the teams win. He meant no harm with that. He really tried hard to encourage Sangwon and help him get his confidence back. Junseo told Sangwon that he doesn't want him to regret and that he should at least try. Anxin also tried to convince him. At the end the whole group votes for the killing part. It's not Junseo's decision alone. Junseo showed often that he is a good leader - when he supported the 2-star group, when he listenend and took advice from his Bad Team members and then gave Donggyu space to shine (everything here was maliciously edited to paint Junseo as a bad leader). Even in this episode he asked multiple time if someone wanted the leader role - no answer. Kangmin later said in an interview that he wanted the leader role but still stayed silent because he thought Junseo would want it, which is super unfair towards Junseo. It makes no sense to think that Junseo would want it since he already had it 3x in a row. This part was weird. Also the part where Junseo took the title you can see how often the video was cut and how many parts are missing. It's very clear that Mnet is sabotaging Junseo. He has been in the industry for 7 years and he is known for being one of the kindest. You also have seen him supporting 2-star team like crazy at the beginning. How does that match with the Bad Team epsiode where Junseo was totally cut out of the storyline. He also gave Anxin a second chance and voted for JiaHao who clearly stood out. Mnet is known for its evil editing and ruining idols life. That we all know. Buy you should at least have the ability to see through the editing.

I appreciate you and BV92 for bringing awareness to this situation ❤️Just know that anyone who honestly believes…
Thanks for saying that. I think at the end of the day, it's more about Junseo's well being. Many of his fans got PTSD from this episode and I can't imagine how hard it is for him. I hope he can make it together with Leo. They had great chemistry.

Thank you for sharing again. Unfortunately, even if we explain it now and we all know the treatment he received…
The whole thing was so traumatic for his fans, I can't imagine what he is going through. He is too soft for this kind of cruelty. Someone like him who loves and feels too deeply shouldn't go through this. And I bet Junseo doesn't even care about his own feelings, he often said that he doesn't want to disappoint those who support him - this feeling will hurt him even more.
Normally, his eyes always sparkle full of light and warmth. Seeing that fade away now is absolutly heartbreaking. I really hope that he has support from his loved ones.

Holy sh*t. This is f*cked up. You should make this go viral.
The owner of this comment said that she posted it on all videos, but it always got deleted.

I also feel like they are paying for hate bots on youtube.

Guys please read BV92's comment.

Now it makes sense why Mnet cut out the part where Junseo gave full credit to Donggyu for the choreo in front of the audience and told them to vote for Donggyu. It didn't fit into their narrative so they cut it out.

Plus, Masato was criticized for not fully memorizing the choreography, and throughout the practice and up until the performance, he was clearly the weakest dancer among the three. Yet Junseo was singled out as the worst by the mentors — if that isn’t part of Mnet’s narrative choice for the storyline, then what is?

Mnet is so evil.

BV92's comment:
"Dear Junseo, Donggyu and Masato fan, I want to share a fair perspective that I hope you will take to heart.

I think a lot of people are missing the bigger picture here because of how the edit framed the situation. On the surface, the clips make it look like Donggyu was carrying all the pressure — he’s shown teaching the others, staying up late, coming up with the choreo, while Junseo ends up taking the killing part that Donggyu created. Naturally, that gives viewers the impression that Junseo pushed the responsibility onto Donggyu and benefitted from his hard work.

But if you look closer, there are several signs that this is not the full truth. First, we know from the mentor’s feedback that the team’s initial approach — everyone doing their own choreo — wasn’t working. That’s why they decided one person should take charge for the sake of cohesion. And they even made it clear that Donggyu had experience in choreographing, so most likely he himself suggested that he would take on that role since he was better suited for it. Second, Junseo himself said he doesn’t believe the leader always has to choreograph, which shows that he’s an open-minded leader who believes everyone should have their own part. Look at groups like SEVENTEEN — Hoshi handles choreography, but that doesn’t mean he holds the leader title. Leadership is about guidance and balance, not just who makes the choreo. The fact that Junseo, as a leader, decided to give space for others to shine actually proves his leadership. He has shown this more than once — for example, when they couldn’t decide on the killing part, he was open to asking the other team for feedback. That shows he’s a leader who listens, takes advice, and tries to meet others halfway. And if you think of the context, it’s very likely the staff directly asked Junseo something like, “As the leader, shouldn’t you be doing the choreo instead of Donggyu?” Junseo’s answer wasn’t deflecting — it was him being humble, saying that just because he is the leader, it doesn’t mean he has to take every role, and that others can shine in their strengths too.

And when Masato was struggling, Junseo also stepped up as a leader by giving him honest advice in a soft tone. He wasn’t being harsh — he was encouraging Masato to focus so the whole team could shine. That’s exactly what a responsible leader should do.

And third, we can’t forget Donggyu’s own words: before the performance, he said “This might be my last stage today.” That clearly shows he was already feeling desperate, mentally preparing for elimination, and eager to leave a mark. In that context, it makes perfect sense that he would want to step up and take on the choreography role — it gave him another way to shine since he didn’t get the killing part. The killing part selection, where he also showed how desperate he was.

This is why the editing is so problematic. The way the story was cut, it paints Donggyu as the “hardworking victim” and Junseo as the “leader who escaped responsibility.” They even only showed clips of Donggyu helping Masato practice, which made Donggyu look like the one guiding and training the others, while Junseo was almost completely cut out of that role. That choice in editing plays directly into the narrative the show wanted to push. That’s a very easy narrative for a survival show to sell — the underdog vs. the one who benefits — but it creates a huge misunderstanding. In reality, this looks far more collaborative: the team agreed to let one person lead the choreo, Donggyu took it on (very likely by choice), and Junseo acknowledged him by giving him credit on stage in front of the audience and asking fans to vote for him (this part was also cut out, because it did't fit into Mnet's narrative). That’s not exploitation — that’s teamwork.

You can even see that sense of ease in practice — Donggyu was smiling when Junseo gave serious advice to Masato, and again when they had a small breakdown over the choreo. That shows the atmosphere wasn’t as serious or conflict-heavy as the edit tried to portray, but actually more lighthearted and collaborative.

So to me, the real issue here isn’t Junseo or Donggyu. It’s the editing. The show wanted drama and emotion, so they framed the story in a way that oversimplifies things and unfairly puts Junseo in a bad light. Donggyu deserves recognition for his effort, yes, but Junseo doesn’t deserve hate. What we should really be questioning is why the program keeps creating these misleading “victim vs. villain” narratives in the first place.

So please let us come together as fans and protect our boys."

I hope people who were watching the latest episode are smart enough to understand the editing manipulations with…
The fact that Mnet has to rely on twisted editing just to boost engagement at the cost of a young man’s wellbeing is honestly disgraceful. It only proves that they can’t find success by creating a truly great show — and if they have to reach for this pitiful method to make it “successful,” then they’re already lost.

The editing is so obvious. I don't get how people can fall for it. I feel so sorry for Junseo. He is such an empathic and kind person. He cried when Aoshi got eliminated. Aoshi's mom even posted about him.
