Oh man, I missed the whole show and didn’t even realize Junseo was there! I almost didn’t recognize him because…
Junseo might not be slim and “girly looking” anymore, but he still does justice to every girl group dance without making them look masculine — he carries the feminine vibe even with his more masculine body. And he still is a man who puts on lipstick.... i stan

Cringy Kangmin solo stans are really showing their true colors now that he's returning to Verivery and asking…
They are even down-voting every comment about Junseo on YT. We can't even celebrate his win, all they do is complaining in the comment section.

I see what you mean, because that’s also my observation about MNET really trying to bury Junseo. He’s been…
I'm still mad that they didn't show how Kangmin and Junseo hugged during the break and after the announcement. Till the very end, they didn't show any of Junseo's precious relationships with the others trainees.

I want to give a very honest opinion here. To be completely real, this show was extremely biased - and a times…
Junseo has an extremely clean record and they definitely used his purity as a way to clean up their own mess. And they will continue to do so.

WEi is just like SVT, they are one of the most humble and kindest idols I've ever seen.

This show has crossed into something deeply disturbing. It’s no longer about talent, growth, or fairness —…
I will never forgive Mnet for what they did to Junseo. He became the prime victim of their so-called ‘evil editing,’ and it caused long-lasting damage to his reputation. This is someone who has been an idol for 7 years, who is widely known for his kindness and clean record — yet they turned him into a scapegoat. Because of that, he was bombarded with hate comments and death threats. Mnet knowingly sacrificed his safety and mental health in the process. You can see the damage now: Junseo looks anxious in front of the camera and fans, and in the show he is just existing quietly. Mnet didn’t just give him a bad edit, they broke him. This isn’t a show, this is abuse.

I know that this show is unfair and the lineup is already setup, but you should watch this: 00:00 - 19:15https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGd4yF704EYSince…
Found this on X. What do you think guys?

"Rumors" about the show (gotten from @poom067)
- A 9th member is definitely an option, according to my source they are still thinking about it because they want to see how the lineup looks like first.
- 11 members is impossible = too much responsibility and Wakeone isn’t prepared.
- The name doesn’t have “Alpha” but is linked to the whole theme of the show (my source doesn’t want to tell meㅠ).
- There are definitely favorite contestants among the producers.
- The screen times are disproportionate because the editors aren’t always the same.
- There are some contestants the producers are purposely sabotaging because they don’t fit the idea they have for the group (Choi Lipwoo, Kang Woojin).
- They are not pushing Chen Kaiwon because they want him to be in the Chinese spin off they are preparing.
- Zhou Anxin is liked by the producers but they don’t want him to be too popular.
- They want Lee Sangwon or Kim Geonwoo for the center.
- The producers weren’t expecting Xinlong to be this popular.
- They want Kim Geonwoo as the future leader and purposefully edit him favorably.
- Lee Sangwon is particularly loved and favored by everyone among the staffs and producers.
- Jeong Sanghyeon is neither liked/disliked, they want him in the lineup only because of his popularity in Korea.
- Kang Woojin Jang Haneum and Masato as 16th candidates wasn’t planned
- They didn’t want Jang Haneum because he would’ve been a threat for one pick voting.
- They accepted Masato being eliminated because his company has plans for him in the future.
- Kang Woojin survived only because he is not considered a threat to the producers favored lineup.
- Rumors of bribery and fraud are floating in the air especially about Whib members and IST Park Donggyu (only speculation).
- Zhang Jiahao’s rise of popularity wasn’t planned as well but the producers are okay with him.
- They wanted an “Alpha” concept similar to Ateez because they wanted the group to be popular overseas but after seeing online backlash and the popularity of the team “Chains”and “Whiplash” they are starting to change their minds for a softer concept similar to Enhypen.
- Choi Lipwoo is not in the producers lineup, his popularity is a threat for them.
- They are pushing Irio as the future main vocalist.
- The staffs aren’t the same as last season, the contents/videos are different.
- They are rushing the season to be over to brush off criticism.

Many people are asking me about Choi Lipwoo and Kang Woojin’s situations after my thread.
According to my source they were originally contestants the producers liked a lot: Lipwoo’s visuals were used to promote the show, Woojin was given a good edit in the first episode. +

After Kang Woojin and Kim Geonwoo’s Wakeone controversy, their screen times were temporarily shortened. There was also rumors spreading about the show before the show started which made the producers panic and organize emergency meetings.
This list was one of the things spread. Photo (https://x.com/poom067/status/1969795670191009823)
I will not pronounce myself on whether the rumors were true or not, but this changed the producers vision. They are more strict this season when it comes to screen times because the group will last ~5 years so they want it to be absolutely perfect.
Because they want a group different from Z*robaseone, they wanted to create a dark concept “alpha” group. The rumors being slowly forgotten, they gave most of the contestants their screen times back but not Kang Woojin because he is not popular enough and isn’t “alpha” coded.
Since Kang Woojin is a main vocalist they do not want to push him in the position because they want Irio more. They also do not push Zhou Anxin in the position although he is a skilled vocalist.
As for Choi Lipwoo, they just don’t want to waste a debut spot for him.
They are not exactly against Choi Lipwoo but since he’s pushed a softer cuter image throughout the show they don’t want to push him in the debut group. They prioritize contestants who can fit darker concepts and want the group to look visually coherent.
There are apparently discussions to change the future concept, it seems like even the producers don’t know exactly what they want to do which is very confusing.
About Kim Junseo: he was at first pushed as the leader of the future group and was edited like someone reliable. They changed their plans in the middle of the show and now want someone else for the leader position. They negatively edited him in “Bad” to create a storyline and fake drama but they apparently decided to not edit him favorably again after that. They want Kim Geonwoo, Yoo Kangmin or Park Donggyu as a leader.

Since they can't rig the voting anymore, they use editing, storytelling and screentime to build their lineup. I bet there are also bots voting in the background xD

I've been wanting to say this for a while, what's up with Kim Jun Seo?!!!! He looked so pocket sized in secret…
Weight gain doesn’t change talent, kindness, or the person he is. Junseo deserves love and respect — so let’s not body-shame him.

i dont understand why ppl are hating him other than when him and donggyu had a little misunderstanding? for me…
It's organized hate possibly fueled by bots and/or most likely by extreme, obsessive fans of other contestants using the moment to drag him down. The hate went beyond normal criticism - he was also bombarded with death threats and even his family and friends were targeted with insults.

Kim Junseo is literally so sensible & nice. He’d make such a good group leader if he debuts and he better…
The fact Junseo is so loved by all trainees and the fact they all speak up about Junseo's kindness and hardwork says it all.
Li Zihao is the next one to mention Junseo. He said:
“Junseo hyung practiced really hard, and is a hyung that helped me out a lot.”
Haneum said in his livestream that Junseo asked him about vocals and he praised him for his singing and dancing. Haneum said that the compliments from Junseo made him super happy.

Fans also noticed that Junseo supported C/J-trainees much more and was super nice and supportive of them, cause he saw how they were treated.

We all know how kind Junseo is. Mnet can go to hell.

If you can please vote Junseo as your one pick.

I really like Junseo and Donggyu and in today's episode we could see once again how close they are, always sticking…
I fear Junseo will end up like Keita or Jay. At least both tried hard to shine at the end. Junseo could have probably kicked Sub Vocal 1 or 2 if he wanted, but he really was not taking a chance to give them any evil edit material or hate comments. He just took the backseat. They traumatized him so hard.
On Boys II Planet Sep 18, 2025
At this point, it feels pretty official that Mnet is trying to erase Junseo from everything possible. They skipped so many parts - his and Kaiwen's introduction, the part where he chose his part in Brat Attitude and out of everyone, he was the only one removed from the moment. The only little screentime he got was basically just reaction shots - almost like they only left those in so K-fans could twist them into reasons to blame or attack him. And his ranking and speech part wasn't posted on Youtube once again.

It's honestly disturbing how Mnet handled Junseo, desecrating his image and practically burying him. The fact that Junseo himself stop going for bigger parts and hinted that he doesn't expect to be in the final line-up already says so much. It's like a quiet signal, an unspoken truth that something is going on.

You can also see that Junseo and Donggyu have a really good relationship - ever since the incident they've stayed so close - almost like they are silently telling everyone not to believe Mnet's evil editing.

No matter what happened behind the scenes, I just hope Junseo stays safe. He's honestly one of the most empathetic and kindest idols I've ever seen in the K-Kpop industry, and it breaks my heart that he had the bad luck of falling into the hands of such evil. I truly hope he can regain his strength and confidence.

Please everyone who supports him - vote Junseo as your one pick. He's already at the bottom in the Korean votes and it's clear that only international fans with enough critical thinking are keeping him afloat.

Did you know that Donggyu’s best friend Seungmin danced for Main Dish demo video? Seungmin also has friends…
I guess they still have to treat it professionally even if they are friends - but it does raise eyesbrows, especially in a survival show context where editing and connections can make or break someone. As long as there is no evidence that he gave his friend inside infos, it's not a problem. But yes it's a little weird, if he deleted those photos.

Junseo being in the top 8 even though:- Zero screen time- Evil edits- The lowest score among all trainees (sabotaged)-…
It's crazy that he never left the top 8.... even after the unjust hate he received - hate that cost him a lot of Korean votes, which are weighted 5x more than International votes.

The fact that Mnet works so hard to kick him out scares me. I really want him to debut.

It’s official, guys… they really sabotaged Junseo’s score. One of the live audience members who attended…
Have you seen the hate comments Junseo received? There were absolutely disturbing. It visibly wrecked Junseo. Even Junseo's teammate from Wei mentioned in a live how shocking it was.
K-netz can be the worst - downright vicious. Guess why the idol suicide rate is so tragically high.

All I can say is that it's obvious they are desperately trying to push Donggyu up by giving him extra and positive…
That's not true. The mentor criticized the choreo, so after that Junseo said that they needed to work on the choreo, and the team decided that Donggyu would take the lead since he has more experience. Junseo even gave credit to Donggyu for the choreo in front the whole audience and asked fans to vote for him, but Mnet cut that part out.

And just to be clear, I'm not making assumptions - I only share what I've observed. On the rest, I agree with you.

All I can say is that it's obvious they are desperately trying to push Donggyu up by giving him extra and positive…
First of all, it’s not a rumor. He posted it himself and shared those photos publicly, so don’t twist my words. What I said was about what we all saw on camera — his reaction. He was smiling happily at Junseo while Junseo looked devastated and broken. That’s not something I made up. Whether it was nerves or coping, I don’t know, but to smile like that at someone who was clearly hurting comes across as lacking empathy.

And saying Junseo “wasn’t to be pitied” is really unfair. He suffered the most from Mnet’s evil editing and from the hate comments, which his score in the last episode reflects. He was never safe in the top 8. Pretending otherwise ignores everything he went through.

And as for the vibes I get from Donggyu — it’s just little pieces I’ve put together. I said it’s weird vibes I get from him, and that hasn’t changed. I didn’t say anything directly negative about him, it’s just the impression I’ve formed. Also, after the Sugar High performance, he basically said Masato improved thanks to him, which I felt was unfair and a bit arrogant. Masato earned his own improvement — he wasn’t even in Sugar High. So yeah, my judgment of him comes from what I’ve seen, not from rumors.

At the end of the day, it’s very clear Mnet is trying to bury Junseo by pushing Donggyu up. They even showed it in the last episode. It’s obvious where this is going

No, that’s not true. The ones with the best ranks were the ones who could decide whether to take the person or not. Junseo was the first one standing there. Then he was standing with Masato, and later all three were together.

Donggyu is really talented, but I get weird vibes from him. I also didn't like how Donggyu's gay friend had a photo of Jiwoong and Junseo, and he even kissed a photo of Junseo. But after the Bad Performance, he turned around and shaded Junseo . I also think Donggyu picked Junseo's Team because his friend liked him. Also on elimination day, it was weird seeing Donggyu happily smiling at Junseo while Junseo clearly looked completely broken after the hate comments. Like Donggyu didn't care about Junseo, he was happy about his own rise. All that behavior and these moments just feel unsettling.
