The cinematography was pretty decent, the story was interesting at first but then it sort of deflated. 40 eps was definitely a stretch. Xiao Meng's facial expressions were emotionless 99% of the time but the male leads made it tolerable to watch.
That ending ahhh~ I really want more powerful evidence to justify Anna and K2's blossoming relationship. They look so visually compatible but right now I'm not quite convinced yet. They held so much potential since the beginning of their fateful encounter in ep1. But too bad it's currently being overshadowed by the intensity of K2 and Yoon Jin's chemistry (a bit unsure about the noona romance..) Low key hoping the writers would flesh out a bit more about Yoojin and her yandere secretary. I wonder how this story would roll out because Jeha essentially needs Yoojin in order to execute his revenge on Kwansoo (totally not digging the past dead lover trope) but at the same time, Anna has a fuming hatred for Yoojin.. another week to wait..
I think it's understandable why some people are shipping Yoon Ah and K2 because their chemistry under the emotional circumstances were undeniable. I hope their relationship stays platonic in terms of a cunning (yet vulnerable) boss and untamed (yet thoughtful) bodyguard. But I still can't help but love him and Anna together! They encountered each other during a time of hardship in a foreign country and now he's secretly dancing with her through the CCTV, so goddamn adorable. I hope their relationship develops further.. Right now it's fairly innocent and (one-sided) giddy between them but I want it to become a little more serious!
Dammit, have to wait another week! I was left slightly confused as to why K2 was panicking - was someone planning…
I admit I was sort of disappointed with the preview. It was too specific/focused on one selected scene gaaaah I want hints about the rest of the upcoming ep!!

At least I wasn't the only one left puzzled at the end haha. But yes they're so cute!! I love how he was rooting for her behind the scenes and was even contemplating to cook ramen for her aha~ I hope there's no more suggestive noona-love between K2 and Yoon Ah..
Slightly confused about the ending, can someone clarify for me? What did Alice symbolise? Was it some sort of metaphor? What happened to his dreams and his love life? I feel like I'm missing out on something LOL.
Dammit, have to wait another week! I was left slightly confused as to why K2 was panicking - was someone planning an attack on Anna? Or were they camera lights? Was she trying to escape from her bedroom window? Ahhh! Anyhow, the preview was so eerily good yet simple, sent chills down my spine!
I'm going to play the defender here but just hear me out (and the drama a bit). I am joining the party that…
I was honestly quite disappointed with the random foreign lover from the past who tragically died but hearing your interpretation eases it a little! At least we know he can also feel human emotions and had his own happy moments in life.
What's with the old lady and her gaze at Chang Wook? It looks lusty........and if we don't see more…
The only thing that intrigued me about this drama was the casting of Yoona and JCW.. I'm disappointed by her lack of scenes; as of right now, she seems more like a supporting character to me. Definitely starting to think that her role only serves as promotion/advertisement.. Hopefully future episodes will prove me wrong!
The casting of Ji Chang Wook and Yoona was what initially attracted me to this drama and while I was fully aware…
Very true! The tragic death of his foreign lover didn't do the trick for me.. Dare I say, I felt zero sympathy LOL. Simply because Nadina's character served as nothing more but a stepping stone to his scarred past. That's the extent of her character development.. Ah well, at least I wasn't the only one feeling that way!!
