I just don't get the attraction to Prince Cheng. (Also I glanced at episode 43, I think it was, and I swear sometimes…
Sounds a bit weird but if you're familiar with kpop, he kind of low key very subtly vaguely somewhat reminded me of iKON's Jinhwan..? I think it's the eyes haha but maybe that's just me..
It wasn't particularly bad. Perhaps the ending was too vague. In my opinion, throughout the story it was sort of ambiguous and felt a little incomplete. I wasn't keen on the female lead's personality either which affected the drop in my score. But overall, it was a good movie that's worth watching!
I literally cannot deal with their hairstyles.. It's very, uh. Backwards in a sense? As if the hairstyle trend…
I completely understand what you're saying but to put into perspective, 2011 was 5 years ago.. a lot can change within the time period of 5 years especially with things such as styles and trends as they're subject to constant change. I've seen and read recent Japanese dramas, magazines, etc. with males adopting more trendy modern hairstyles in drastic comparison to this drama. And although it's interesting and nonetheless peculiar, in my opinion, it's still very outdated. But having said all that, I think their hairstyles were purposely styled that way for the sake of the drama as its been adapted from manga hence the overly exaggerated cartoonistic shoujo-like hair ahah~
Meh, seen up to episode 7 and I'm not quite feeling it so far. It's not bad or anything, but the comments overhyped it a little too much so it hasn't quite reached my expectations. The internal dilemma is very repetitive with the whole, "omg I wanna be a doctress, imma heal people, oh noes I almost killed someone, I shall never touch medicine ever again, oh noes they need my help, uh oh almost accidentally killed someone again, I'm gonna give up being a doctress, nah i want to heal people..." you get the idea LOL. She needs to find the incentive to make a decision and stick to it. At first she's very keen on wanting to keep her family's history of medicine alive, she was initially determined to become a doctress but her feelings were wavered by her multiple failures (and disagreement with her father) and sworn to never pursue medicine ever again but then encounters sickly people and suddenly has to epiphany to cure people (after much debate with her inner turmoil..) and it just gets very repetitive and somewhat draggy. Seeing as I've only seen 7/50 episodes, maybe I'm just being quick to judge. But yeah that's my opinion of the drama so far, onto episode 8!
I was kind of into this drama at the beginning, I mean, the OST is good, the cast is just fine, the plot was interesting...…
I begin to differ.. In my personal opinion, Hong Bin's mediocre acting was one of the main reasons why I'm reluctant to continue the series (along with other poor cast members)
I think English subs are being released daily per episode.
