this is definitely my favorite show of the year I can't even begin to explain how phenomenally well done it is. literally everything is beautiful, the cinematography, ost, script, acting, chemistry between actors. everything down to the smallest detail is well done and thought through. we've only gotten 3 episodes and it's already proven to be a masterpiece of a show, I can't wait to see more
I love when NONCONSENSUAL things happen in BLs. Hearing all the SJW heads exploding is a delightful addition to…
You literally said you think it's "Exciting". Rape or noncon should not be "exciting". Even in fiction. It's fine to use it in fiction, I never said it isn't. It can appear in fiction, but if there is an obvious romanticization of rape or noncon it is not okay. This show has not yet done so, but many others have. And it delivers the message to people of various ages that noncon is okay. Which it isn't.

at least I don't condone rape/noncon, whoever thinks that's exciting needs a reality check. it of course can appear in fiction, but they have to frame it correctly and actually make their audience aware that noncon is never okay. if you genuinely enjoy rape scenes, I don't have anything else to say
Okay, I might be the only one or one of few with that opinion. But the kiss was wrong. I liked Bbomb's character so far, he was pretty chill and never pushed Jin too hard so that he felt uncomfortable. It felt like he truly liked Jin, and I mean I still think he does, and that he didn't want to make him feel weird around him. We could also see throughout this episode, that Jin had started to warm up to Bbomb more. They went to see a movie, had dinner together, and Jin didn't seem put off when Bbomb slept over at his place. Cool. Great. But then that last scene happened. And I just don't understand. It was absolutely not necessary. Jin was drunk. He was confused, and he was also angry at Bbomb at that moment. It made absolutely no sense when Bbomb kissed him. I feel like this will just hurt their growing relationship and I'm kinda sad to see them taking a step back. That might be a plot device, but the screenwriters could have easily rewritten that. They could have done anything else, just not that nonconsensual kiss. I do really like the show so far and Bbomb's character, so I hope this was just a one-time thing.
Agree. I am loving the calmness, subtleties, the friendship and the music. I loved the scene where Jack is concerned…
Yes! You explained that so well. It really does feel fresh even if the storyline is rather predictable. Really shows how much good editing and pacing AND natural acting helps to create a nice show :)
I didn't expect much of this, knowing it's the usual university rivals to lovers show, but I really am pleasantly surprised. It's a calm show, there is no overacting and i love how they portray the friendships so far. Like they actually know each other and care for each other yet they still joke around, it's all very natural. They really depict that well through small gestures or words. Bbomb also seems like a good guy, and i hope they won't do his character dirty. I can't say much about Jin yet, but I like how they show us how he's slowly being more conscious of Bbomb. It's realistic, and the small details really make a difference. ngl, I didn't know about Kaownah and Turbo before (I've only seen them in a scene in the show Lovely Writer once) but so far their characters feel refreshing, it's cute and you can see that they're especially close. What really got me was the editing. I love the coloring, it's subtle and not desaturated like many other shows. Same with the lighting, I am sick and tired of the overused bright filter, I'm so glad to Not see that in a show. What I liked most though was the background music and noise. Most shows are so overly polluted with those, and I've grown used to it sadly, so this was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it's enjoyable so far in many regards, I'll definitely look forwards to how they develop the storyline.
