OMG I called it on the driver being the bomb lady's accomplice. It was too coincidental that she bombed them all on the bus and that the bomb still went off when she got stabbed. I'm dying to know the reason why he agreed to do it though.
So theory no. 2: obviously the bomber is the mother of the teen whom Mr. Ma killed in an accident. How would she…
Oh, good observation, I forgot about the bomb being heavy lol Yeah, I think most likely since they've figured out who the bomber is, they'll spend the next two loops laying low and maybe try to collect information about who she is. And yes, I'm hoping Lu Di will somehow get pulled into all this since he's already been introduced into the story once.
I've been suspecting this since the beginning, but I think the bus driver is in on it. All the random camera shots of him driving is shady to me. Another thing is that LSQ has tried all kinds of ways to get him to stop the bus and the only time he did was when she pulled XHY into the time loop with her. I don't have any other basis for this theory though and I don't know what motivation he would have to be an accomplice to the bomber.
The way this boy sits so close to her,,, for no reason š (First gif) https://64.media.tumblr.com/4ac106ac8bdfeee02bc15c7664a2897b/d8148e940b7184c4-f1/s540x810/e444e124e083ff61d4b4c42528aa93dc7631bba2.gifv…
omg these gifs are so cute. Jealous XHY is so cute pls

Oooooh this is a good theory! I didn't even think about how she could be the victim's family from the hit and run case.
That last scene of them walking away from the bus raised more questions than answers for me. Like why not shout that she had a bomb? Why not take the bomb off the bus and call the police? I don't know, but the way they went about it and accidentally getting her stabbed was just so wtf for me.
The pressure cooker bomb thing confused me too though lol I had to rewind that part 3x cause I didn't get what she was pulling.
i don't know how this is going to end or if my feelings will remain the same until there (i think it will tbh)…
Everything you just said resonated so deeply with me cause that's /exactly/ how I feel about this series. I don't know if I'm feeling old or what, but it's so nice to see them being youthful and acting their age just struggling with relationships and love. It's so wholesome, and the actors and the editing/filter of the drama make it look so bright and happy. Every episode is an instant serotonin boost and gives me something to look forward to every week š
I already knew my heart would break going into this drama but I still enjoyed every moment of it. The characters were so well-written that it made it more heartbreaking when something tragic would happen. Also perfectly casted, Bai Lu and Ren Jialun were so natural in these roles that I think it'll be hard for me to move on from them as Shi Yi and Zhousheng Chen.
I never ended up reading the novel because I knew this was one of MBFBās more serious and sad stories but I couldnāt stay away after knowing it was going to be made into a drama. The thing about tragedies is that the story lingers with you long after itās finished cause you think about all the what-ifās and couldāve beenās if things turned out differentā¦but even though I bawled my eyes out cause of this drama, the overall production, story-telling, acting, OST, and other small details were so beautiful that it broke me in the best way.
At first I didnāt think Bai Lu would be the best fit for Shi Yiās character but she definitely proved me wrong. Her acting as the young Shi Yi to the adult Shi Yi was flawless and I canāt imagine anyone else acting her character anymore. In my opinion, her best scene was when her mother told her about ZSCās execution and sheās so wrung with pain that she sobs but hardly makes a sound. If anyone thinks Bai Lu isnāt a good actress then they should watch her in this drama cause THE RANGE.
Aside from that, the chemistry that the two had were so undeniably there that you could feel it even without all the touching and confessions of love, and the OST made everything more heart-wrenching when it played cause the lyrics match their so story perfectly. RJL did a marvelous job depicting a war-torn general who fell inexplicably in love despite his circumstances. Even when he was mostly reserved and stone-faced, you could tell there was an underlying turmoil in his heart.
Iām so grateful for the cast and crew that worked hard to make this drama possible and I can definitely see this winning an award later on in the year cause itās just that good. Mo Bao Fei Bao deserves all the glory for coming up with this gem. I could go on and on about how much of a masterpiece this drama is but it would take me forever to finish so Iām going to just leave it here.
I like the way the story has progressed and has managed to avoid some of the BL tropes. Credit to director Tee…
Yes I found myself really drawn to the directing in this series too, I was surprised more people werenāt talking about it. I really liked the way they shot the confrontation scene with Geneās dad. You could see that all four of them were positioned with considerable distance away from each other, and the really dim lighting elevates the fracture in their relationship as a family because theyāre all essentially in the dark.
And then the scene where Gene and Nubsib are talking about wanting to come out to their families, idk what it is but I really liked that shot. Him and Nubsib at opposite ends of the wall, hiding at the staircase deciding if theyāre going to come clean with their relationship. It really makes me feel like Iām looking in on something intimate.
I found him equally attractive in UWMA and here, but in UWMA, I thought the beach scene made him look the most…
It took me forever to get through ep. 9 because I kept rewinding whenever he did something s*xy. That whole viagra scene where he was being cheeky and then the ātonight?ā Good grief, I need Kao to keep accepting roles like this ASAP
OKAY GUYS IS IT ONLY ME OR I DIDNT FIND KAO SO HOT IN THE DRAMA "UNTILL WE MEET AGAIN" BUT THEN WHEN I SAW HIM…
I found him equally attractive in UWMA and here, but in UWMA, I thought the beach scene made him look the most handsome while in Lovely Writer, Iām attracted to his personality more. I also think he just looks good wearing white in general. Just give him a white shirt and some jeans and let his beauty do all the talking...
While I agree that it seems like the writers are maximizing too much on the ML saving FL trope, Iād also like to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that this is part of CGās character set-up. Even though sheās smart and cunning, sheās not invincible, and I think itās realistic that not all of her plans work out.
Keep in mind that sheās a princess; just because she received the best education and teachings doesnāt mean she knows exactly how the world works. Sheās still young and learning how to survive in such a cutthroat society, I donāt think itās right to compare her and Ashile Sun in that aspect because he was born in a place where he was forced to mature and learn to survive on his own. CG lived in the palace her whole life and never really had to go through these kinds of hardships before. Itās to be expected that she wouldnāt think any of her plans would fall through.
Overall I think the biggest flaws in her character are that sheās too self-righteous and stubborn. She needs to learn to let go of the things she canāt fix anymore.
I think Ashile Sunās flaw on the other hand is being too blinded by his love for her...I can definitely foresee this causing problems in the future with where his loyalties lie.
Was anyone else bothered by the tetanus thing between Mimi and Mu Jin in ep. 19? Iām no expert but Iām pretty sure you canāt cure tetanus just by wiping down someoneās body....
