i swear, the kind of hate it's getting is unreal. A 7.4 rating on MDL is unfair but then again I've seen reviews with 9 or 10 rating on shows that can't be watched beyond the first episode. I've been totally disregading the ratings for a while now, especially on cdramas, and giving the dramas a chance without any prejudice. Some really turn out be disappointments but the vast majority were nowhere near how they were rated here.
Ep 34 onwards felt like a totally different drama all of a sudden. "Bucket of cold water poured over" is a rather apt description. I wondered why this drama had lower ratings when I was watching it but understood the reason towards the end. And about that "break up"? A 2 year separation implied, and for what? Poor writing in that aspect. I had a similar issue with 'Find me in your memory' although they had somewhat genuine reasons for the separation but here? Absolutely not. They just wanted to show a similar kind of separation that the FL's mother had with the husband and if you see the parallels you can conclude that the ML had a similar ending.
Enjoyed the in-your-face reality from the first episode and had great expectations but alas, what a disappointment. Smh.
True. Just dropped it at ep 21. ML chasing after FL got too pathetic after the 100th time, smh. Immature FL who refuses to grow up and who finds every reason possible to stay away from the ML even though he never forced her to stay. Is he really a prince with aspirations of leading the nation? LoL. Almost dropped it earlier twice due to the cringy and over-the-top loud-speaker 'Song Wu' who kept on acting like a 2 year with temper tantrums, what's worse is nobody doing anything about it. Funny how, out of nowhere,they changed her character and then moved her out (thankfully though)

Yeah, I dropped it after he came back & she acted as if nothing happened. Didn't even apologize for her behavior the morning after, smh. It had potential but the ML running to her all the time wasn't cute anymore, unlike the beginning. Hoped the FL would do some sort of chasing but wasn't the case so had to drop it.
Dropped it after the first nude/sex scene. Netflix is going to ruin the Kdramaland. I'm aware that Kmovie industry has far more explicit content than even the west maybe but we simply want to enjoy a drama without garbage introduced into it which is Netflix's speciality. smh. So far, kdramas are pretty tame when it comes to sexual content, and I hope it stays that way. Can't watch ANYTHING nowadays without all that crap which is why I started watching Kdramas. Let's see how long it lasts before the allure of money from these streaming companies completely take over and ruin Kdramaland.
I would easily give this drama an 8/10.
